I want him to do well at WCS next week so bad, and after that at Dreamhack... and after that at IPL5 and after that at NASL(by the way, he plays today against Ganzi)... Concerning his attitude towards zerg... I don't know if he expresses anger or frustation because I know from myself, that I react very differently to those. Anger can be a motivation but frustation is just depressing. I hope he is angry an crushes zerg next weekend in a raging fury.

And that means he needs to stop letting his fear eat him alive, AND he needs to stop trying to do silly all-ins that have literally never fit his playstyle. I love HerO, I cheer for HerO. He is the person beating him the most right now though, and he needs to work on his mental state. He is easily good enough to beat zerg in the lategame. He just gets really scared and tells himself he's going to lose and that he's in a bad place, and then he makes really bad decisions. If he can be confident, he can absolutely crush this group, and realistically the rest of the tournament. Teaching himself to do some silly all-in just reinforces that his own style isn't good enough, which just isn't true. He needs to not beat himself. Yeah to be honest I feel HerO is really already defeating himself by making tweets like that. It's painfully obvious he's lost confidence in what was his best matchup, and if he's heading into tournaments with a defeatist attitude he isn't going to be winning games. Mentality is just as important as skill when it comes to SC2.

There's none, and while i'm sad for HerO because the game doesn't pay his virtuosity, i'm always very glad to see his style and his fucking skill at this game. I disagree entirely. It's harder, but not impossible. But it's also HerO's stongest point, unlike all-inning, which is quite possibly his worst. However, the problem with the macro game is that it requires very good execution and decision making, both of which HerO is VERY good at, but because he's convinced himself he "cant" win, and doesn't feel like he knows what he's doing, that decision making is a lot worse than it usually is. When you put that in a match-setting where a bad decision (late game pvz) will actually lose you the game, it makes it even harder for HerO (which in turn results in him losing and spiraling even more negative about the late-game which reduces his performance even more). The problem is his mind-set, not balance or design.

Balance right now is pretty bad, there is no arguing that, his mindset only adds to his frustration, so yes it's not the best mindset to have(you see defeat before you even play) but it isn't costing him games like you think it is.
