Damn.
I remember the team league where DRG was presented by MVP and I thought "well, he better shows some skill." Then I was baffled how this (then) no-name zerg from a (then) underdog team took out the nerds. Even as he found his match in the game versus MMA, he was defeated in a way which he can be proud of. I began to take interest in him but he wasn't in regular GSL yet.
I like DongRaeGu's patient play style. No funny experiments in the early game, but insane mutalisk usage later on. Often I wonder why commentators criticize DRG for losing an army. Because he doesn't always loses an army, but when he does, he does it on purpose to free up supply for his tech switch. DRG opened my eyes how I should apporach zerg play with constant harassing and army trades until the opponent breaks.

I like DRG because he makes the game much more entertaining. It's not just "skill", his style is somehow waaaaay more cool than a lot of zerg players over here. It's became more fun to watch and makes me cheer for him.
Basically, the only other players that I feel the same way watching are TLO and MC.

Watching nestea bomb vs MMA last night with ultraling makes me value DRG so much more..

It's sad that everybody is cheering for MC in the upcoming matches. I'm an MC fan too, but just wanted to say that I <3 you too, DRG! I know you are on the TL forums sometimes =)

GOGO win the whole tourny.... then stream after blizcup rofl. I bet you will gain twice the number of fans. Even after seeing the recent streams of korean terrans, I'm still in awe of your mechanics from back then when you streamed.
But honestly, i'm quite disappointed when you get knocked out so early in the previous 2 GSLs. You need to make up for it by winning against the very best this time!
