Now use your brain and compare those players with eachother. HuK got the easy road to the WB-finals while NaNiwa had to meet 4 koreans and 2 foreigners.

HuK only played against 1 korean (FXOz) wich i don't even know how good he is.

Beating minigun is no accomplishment at all. Beating socke is decent. Beating ret is better because Ret is a really good player.

I would of liked to see HuK meet NesTea, Leenock, MKP, DongRaeGu and see if he could even beat any of them. Grubby and Sheth are no pushovers eighter.

NaNiwa playing cheesy....... how about his opponents? Almost all koreans cheeses him. Against NesTea he got cheesed the first game. Then they played a longer game and NaNiwa won convincingly. 3rd game NaNiwa cheeses just like NesTea did 1st game. Players can cheese NaNiwa but NaNiwa can't cheese them?

What about HuK @ MLG Providence? In the beginning of the game he sneaks in with a probe and hides a pylon in NaNi's base and then just teleports in units and wins the game. So your beloved HuK cheeses aswell Hubris. And after that 1st cheese game by HuK NaNiwa crushed HuK 2-1 with real games without cheese.

Don't come here to NaNi's fanclub and talk about NaNi fanboys..... you are no different.... your a HuK fanboy and by your extremely dumb and entertaining posts you have clearly proven that you will do anything to stop yourself from crying over the fact that NaNiwa is doing better than HuK in SC2 atm. DEAL WITH IT!

And by the way....... if we shall talk about past results...... NaNiwa 2nd at MLG Providence beating NesTea, MVP, DongRaeGu, HuK and so on. Past results also matter if you wanna compare 2 players with eachother.

Just get over yourself and start realizing that NaNiwa is beating better and more accomplished players than what your HuK is doing. I know it's hard to face the truth but if you do you can atleast stop lying to yourself.

I know you have some kind of NA pride but NaNiwa is actually better than HuK atm. Results speak for themselves. NaNiwa beating HuK speaks for itself. NaNiwa beating better players than what HuK does speaks for itself.

Sad that HuK got such an easy road to the WB-final while NaNiwa actually had to meet really hard opponents. But i guess that's life. Some people take the easy way while others take the hard way.

Now goodbye my young man!

HuK getting crushed by MKP like that further proves that NaNiwa easily could have been top 3 at this tournament with the same bracket as HuK got

Just to add to that, I've always found that PvT is Nani's weakest match up whereas I feel like its Huk's best (or maybe PvP). I'm not sure the statistics back that up but thats what I think !

Officially naniwa and huk lose to same players, but Naniwa managed to beat harder players.

i will be really sad if Mr.Chae give gsl march code S seed to Huk because of higher place than naniwa...

The thing with that is, that Nani most prob will never again be seeded in GSL Code S due to 'the Naniwa incident' (you know what *Harry Potter reference*).. :C

Anyway, Naniwa did an awesome job. Kicking out two of the three Zerg kings, really means a lot.

Naniwa is so good atm... Just the very top Koreans are slightly better for now. I'd say Naniwa has the ability to beat anyone on his day, moreso than Huk. Also, with the exception of Oz, no one Huk beat would stand much chance against Naniwa... Like, he'd probably consistantly beat them. Nani would probably beat Oz too as Nani is pretty amazing PvP and beat Huk PvP but Nani's never played Oz AFAIK. On the other hand, Leenock would probably beat Huk fairly easily, and Nestea would stand a pretty decent chance.

Tbh, this might sound a bit extreme but I think Naniwa is the best foreigner of any race.+ Show Spoiler +
The failures in terms of foreigners this season's GSL is evidence of that - only 1 player even staying the the GSL (in code A) being Sen who barely managed to stay in code A. Naniwa on the other hand, although failing in previous GSLs seems to have improved a lot and is able to beat anyone.

This! While I'd love to see Nani finally get a code s seed I wouldn't get my hopes up that GSL realizes that the fault is at least partially theirs. They'll just give it to Sase or some other foreigner who's living in Korea and hadn't dropped out this season.

But regardless of what happens to GSL in the future, we just had a really impressive showing by Nani with a good deal of bad luck for meeting MKP so early on.

A LOT of the players in the tournament could've been in top 3 with HuK's bracket.

When I said a few pages ago that probably Naniwa will get overshadowed this tournament by HuK, I didn't mean to start this hate-train. Yes, HuK did face much easier competition and faced higher, but that is the luck of the draw. Both are really amazing players, let's be a bit more respectful.

The two players he lost to were the finalists of the tournament, it's unfortunate that he got knocked out so early. He had an amazing run though.

Naniwa's my hero. Apart from his awesome interview, his play this tournament was just phenomenal. Easily the best hope for the foreigners, I think.

I am a fan of naniwa, but I am not sure if he could consistently beat ret, probably a great series, could go to either player, just because Nani doesn't two base cheese unless he is pressured by the zerg, and I think if he didn't cheese, he would have a hard time keeping up with ret's macro, 80 drones three minutes into the game (hyperbole!) but I don't think huk could beat ret consistently either (like bo7), with the exception of cheesy two base play. I think that is just a difference of style though. Maybe Nani would two base against ret, but it just seems like he would rather macro when not harassed or 6 pooled.

All that said, I definitely think nani is better than huk right now. His crisis management is just absurd!

^^Possibly true but I think Naniwa's (and protoss in general) seems to have gotten better in PvZ lately, especially against the hard macro zergs like Ret. Ret is very good though when he's at his best and it would certainly be tough no matter what.

Now goodbye my young man!

just to add some info about Oz:
Oz is a really good protoss that recently caught my eyes. He beat players like inca, curious, supernova in this month GSL. He beat MMA in Nov GSL and almost took out Jjakji who was nov GSL champion as well
I remember him being the first to use warp prism to protect HTs from snipes/EMP.
but most people remember him for knocking out nada from code A for the 1st time

He is currently at the up&down with tonnes of other code S like nestea, MVP, Leenock, jjakji as well

PvP is also his best matchup, HuK said Oz PvP is probably top of the world right now, which I could agree because I don't think I have seen him losing a PvP yet
