I was so pumped to see him win that game. Totally deserved it.
According to both IdrA and Incontrol (who was watching the stream at the time) that was Minigun. They also played a game before that where IdrA beat him in a much longer macro game.
They also played another macro game straight after which Idra also won. He's playing so well atm.

Oh wow really? Didn't know that haha. Thought it was some random dude. But yeah Idra is gonna be such a powerhouse in the upcoming national tourneys
That is hands down the best esports interview I have ever seen. Both parties both looking sharp, speaking very well and having good chemistry.
Together with the rivalry between Idra and Huk all the while shooting in there that Huk is indeed a good player this is the stuff that will help grow ESPORTS.
I love IdrA's interviews. Plus I love Seltzer making interviews. So this one is once again great. She is so calm, confident and actually knows what she is talking about plus being authentically euphoric about e-sports it's just great. On the other side IdrA who is simply amazing at analizing his play and the one of his opponent. It is a great duo.
Wonder how she would do as a caster. Maybe she should try out for the code A casters spot at GSL. She is living in korea with Torch, right?
Well said. The two have them do great interviews. I think there was another just before he left Korea.
And no, she's in the US now. This was filmed at MLG Dallas.
Edit: Another play who really breaks down the game and analyses the finer instances is Tyler. Listening to him talk about Protoss play on SotG is just damn amazing. I think IdrA and Tyler have pretty similar StarCraft minds.
That macro game was pretty fun, 5 base Zerg vs. 3 base Protoss with IdrA pressuring everywhere losing less units than the Protoss ended up nearly losing to pure stalkers on equal upgrades
There is some context, which is that IdrA called the people in ROOT mediocre, and he said while they were succesful at the start of the game, better gamers would come along and dominate them. IdrA has always called KiWiKaKi a good player though, he probably also thinks well of qxc, so I guess he's referring to Drewbie. Minigun is caught in the fire however, because he needs to defend his pride as a newly aquired ROOT member, hence the comment, I suppose.

It's so inspiring every time I get to see you play, as a zerg I have tried to mold my play around your solid macro style and work on pure mechanics so I can begin to pull off macro games such as yours. IdrA Fighting in NASL!

I may be off here, but I think Zark is Minigun's account in EU? That would be funny if they met over EU servers haha

He's been mixinig it up quite a bit so it's hard to say. I'm not sure what it is in ZvZ that dictates his decisions:
On his last stream, he played a zerg on EU server who he scouted going for roaches (this was on scrap station). I guess he felt the warren came in too slow because he had a baneling nest building but never canceled it. Long story short, he trampled the drone line with banelings before roaches could pop.
I've also seen him go roaches into infestors which is becoming popular in ZvZ and then eventually getting hydras for support. I've also noticed that his upgrade timings aren't always at the same time so once again, it's hard to say exactly. He's either changing it up because the people he's playing aren't too good or he's being very reactionary to what they're doing and simply stomping them that way.
Honestly, it's pretty awesome. ZvZ used to be quite bad before but looking at him play he seems to have gotten a very strong grasp on it.
