Interview at MLG Dallas with Torchs girlfriend

EDIT: I still think IdrA is a extremely professional player tbh. He might have his blow outs every now and then but he knows what he is talking about

They don't need to be on the same level to have a rivalry. Protoss have the cheeses to always take games off zergs. So that makes any meeting between these two in a lan environment very interesting.

Why wouldn't he be? I mean sure idra hasn't been participating in a lot of tournaments lately, and maybe his practice environment isn't as good as huks, but idra can keep up no doubt i'd say, especially when he tries hard to come up with new builds and stuff, as shown at mlg. Are you twisting an answer from a twisted question? First of all, Essentia didn't even mention levels, he just said the rivalry is becoming a great thing. Then dapierow, somehow someway, adds "skill level" into the picture, implying that HuK isn't at the same level as IdrA, and then you come and make a post that totally makes it look like you think IdrA barely can reach to the level of HuK while making it look like that's what dapierow was saying in the first place... Oh my... //tx

Oh my... //tx You should probably re-read what i said. Huk has the benefit of an amazing practice environment, is used to playing in a lot of tournaments lately, this should naturally mean huk should perform really well, compared to idra who has none of those things, and still beats huk in both the series they played (by counting the halu game to idra) I've read it, I guess I understand what you're saying, but it really looks (to me) like you're talking about IdrA in the question aswell =P Nevermind that! Anyone has the time of the first game of IdrA in the NASL? I have the day, but I didn't see the time //tx

And no offense to HuK, but after months of training in Korea he is showing less results than before he went. He might as well be below players like KiWiKaKi, Socke, White-Ra and Naniwa now, who don't have quite the same beneficial environment. IdrA still shows he is the player to beat in a straight-up game, he's just been unlucky a bit with zerg balancing. e: I'm listening to the interview now and Idra says (paraphrased): 'the reason HuK beat me in the third game was that he did a feint, and you're not supposed to attack after a feint because the zerg will build a bunch of units, but he did so anyway, so I lost because he did something stupid.' Wasn't there a big thread that Rekrul made about a similar excuse from IdrA? :p

Plus he knows how to explain why he acts so bm sometimes. I know I probably wouldn't act like that, but I can almost understand where he is coming from. He just flat out tells it like it is. Kind of refreshing that he never apologizes for his actions. He just accepts them and forces people to take it like it is. Love him or Hate him. He's good for the growth of eSports.
