I agree to some extend. As much as i love his muta style against T i think he should consider switching to ling/infestor/bl and such. he will need to after HoTS relaese anyway, since mutas will be countered easily imo.
He doesn't need to switch, he needs to integrate those styles into his play so he can't be blind countered and so his play is better rounded. I think Scoots spoke to that on the last lo3, in regards (I believe) to PuMa saying IdrA was playing in a predictable fashion.
The only "blind counter" to Idra's current style is the hellion expand --> fast third, because IdrA doesn't make roaches. What purpose would integrating Ling/Infestor against that fulfill (it's not like he's struggling against mass marine)? All he needs to do is either start making at least 4 roaches (which is a smart adjustment), or figure out a way to exploit the timing of the 3CC build, with very powerful 2 base aggression once the initial 10 or so mutas pop, due to the lack of tech.

roaches are often an addition to this build i mean you endig up with ling/inf/bl/(ultra) but you can afford roach warren if its needed (hellions/mech)
Leenock, DRG, players who people attribute to having excellent ZvT (the best even), go 2 base spire every single game. They are just slightly less greedy than IdrA and so all in a bit more often. This leads them to getting random wins through blind countering, either by crushing a push or killing their opponent, but gives them random losses as well.
DRG and Leenock have both shown extreme prowess in defending the standard 2 base pushes Terran uses, and get many of their wins by defending these pushes (which are actually all ins). From what Jjakji showed in GSL and MVP before him, is that pure macro play, using the 3CC after reactor hellions, is superb vs DRG and Leenock, who often found themselves down in supply to the Terran when no fight had occured.
Idra's playstyle is fine, it just needs slight refinement.

I thought people that tried HotS said the Warhound's AA attack was pretty terrible, even with the splash damage.

One thor losses to 4 mutalisks, sucks against brood lords and overlords, etc
but when you have a ball of 30 muta, you don't want to get anywhere near a thor unless you are forced to just because one fuck up costs you thousands of hp
