Copypasta from one of the few intelligent comments I ever see on allkpop Dicetrain - October 19, 2010 at 4:04 PM | #317 | Edit Love or Hate: +20 @309 You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. Grab a guitar, set Capo 1. Play Em, G, Am7, Em7. That is the entirety of Telephone. Now set Capo 2, play Em, G, D/F#, Am. That is Bbbiribom Bberibbom. So you see here from the capo settings that there is a direct key difference you aren’t picking up on. Then, the first two chords are the same, but the last two are different. So you didn’t catch the general chord progression. Beyond this, the reason the last two are different is because the focus of the melodies actually ride on the chords differently. The focus of telephone goes F, full step down to D# way up to A# then way down to F on the next octave down. The focus of Bbbiribom Bberibbom goes F# one and a half steps up to A way down to E on the next octave down, then up to A# on the next octave up. So if you were playing on piano your hands would actually move in opposite directions when you play the two songs. This is without even touching the way the rhythms and harmonies are much different. Please don’t act like you know what you’re talking about when you’re just guessing based on poor discernment and untrained ears.
pshh, I didn't say it was plagiarism, I said it was a cheap knockoff. Obviously if this was brought up before, then I'm not the only one who thinks this
yea, as soon as the song was over i youtubed lady gaga telephone, before reading the posts in this thread that mentioned it. i dont care about the chord progression, the arrangement is entirely similar. the rap verse, voice distortion, syllable repetition, and overall style instantly made me think of lady gaga.
I hope this is only because they shopped the pic. I remember how bad the japanese genie pics they released before they released the actual song and after that, they weren't that bad during promotions.

Hmm, Isak was pretty adamant that Tiffany didn't get work done. I was talking to a Korean plastic surgeon who tells me that anything major enough to be noticably different causes significant bruising, and given how these girls have been on television or hosting and performing in live events non-stop, that it's unlikely any of them have had any significant work done, at least in the past year.
I don't think anyone can say for certain until we see their faces without makeup. Asian girls = blank canvases. Asian girls with makeup = fraud.
