anyway, it may be good for jaebeom to move back to the states to finish his college degree, then come back to korea when all of this has boiled down.

Well he didn't really bitch about Korea or anything, but he said he was going to the army and ran away to USA. After this certain even alot of Koreans started hating him and branded him as a traitor It's been 10 years now and Korea still hasn't forgiven him ![]() He did an interview about how he's living in China (really sad interview) and all the Koreans said "NOPE U STILL TRAITOR YOU CAN'T COME BACK" well the issue with yoo seungjoon was really different imo if all he did was abandon korean citizenship, it wouldn't have been as bad, what he did was oh im going to the army yeah yeah then uhhh he didnt which came out as him lying to his fans of course keeping him out so long after the incident is extremely silly (but hmm iirc i thought there was some legal thing with his issue but im not sure how that works), but i feel this isn't something that can be compared to this incident with jay

As much as I would like to see that, it won't happen because sadly, the netizens control the Kpop industry. You would think that a fellow Kpop artist will show support for another in this type of situation, but you don't because they will be targeted as well for defending. The only Kpop artist that has shown support for Jay is F.T. Island's Jonghoon, but unfortunately, netizens are bashing on him as well... As for Jay returning, I don't think he'll ever want to because the heat can die down, but it might rise again if he shows interest of returning. He never had any intention of becoming a star in Korea until his mom suggested he tried out at JYP's audition. Since then he has been doing it for his mom back home to make her proud. This was his only source of income because he didn't want to go to college, but that was him 4 years ago as a teen.

I don't think he's coming back either - I hope he'll be happier once he makes it back to his family. They seem to be really important to him.

i think netizens are starting to favor jay a bit, from what ive heard some are like woops, didnt think he would actually retire there's also the newly surfaced myspace comments where jay was like yay i love korea and i hear some blogpost defending jay by a lady who knew him in seattle spread pretty quickly meh i think this definitely wouldve worked out well if jay didn't quit so early at least i dont think theres going to be a huge movement against him if he wants to come back

I dunno how many yrs) or going to the army but eh... The Jaebum thing isn't gonna go away from my mind in a while. I mean he wrote that when he was trying to adjust, like trying to vent and Koreans think of it as an assault to their nation? I wonder how IdrA is still there, cuz apparently Draco, Legionaire, Nony, etc. aren't there anymore...

Legionnaire left because he wanted to finish his university degree and felt he accomplished enough. IdrA is still there because he has NOTHING ELSE to do in his life (at the current moment).
