Thanks for the explanation about Jessica Ho and Brian Joo, but they really don't look like big deals to me. Brian's remarks seem excusable to me, especially since it wasn't his intention. Jessica Ho should have been more careful, but it's pretty stupid for people to go back and check old messages that they wrote -_- Also, it seems that a lot of Koreans dislike black people. When I was in Korea, my aunts used to talk about how black people always start fights, hitting people in the street and stuff. I don't want to sound like a racist, but that seems to be how it is. Whenever I'm on a bus or a train in New York or Boston, the rowdiest kids tend to be black teenagers and a lot of the time, they are talking about fighting or something. | ||

I meant as in the media taking it seriously. Since Tae Yeon's remark wasn't "serious" they didn't care. I'm sad over this scandal because 2pm are my favorite band and Jaebeom happens to be my favorite member (aside from Chanseung after meeting him and scaring the crap out him with my fangirlness.) - it's been reported he's not even eating meals (although if this is true we'll never know.) I hope they can just come out of this and carry on performing/bring the new album soon. JYP should have just said FU to the netizens and carried on public appearances, but sadly that's how things work over here.... Also this week it's been reported netizens are annoyed because JYP spelt ramyeon as 'ramen' (Japanese style) in hangul. -_- Someone needs to remind me why I live here sometimes - when issues like *that* are so deathly important to a cross-section of the population. | ||
