He left probably to save 2PM from getting screwed by his personal matters which may or may not work.

The foreign community is currently going crazy (and I don't think anyone can blame us.) http://community.livejournal.com/omonatheydidnt/1515424.html#cutid1 T_T I could understand him leaving if it was some kind of sex or drugs scandal, but this just seems like a total waste of talent. As an unashamed 2pm fangirl today has made me very sad and again undermined my faith in the kind side of certain Koreans.

http://twitter.com/twooneday Even though it is just a rumor, according to this fan account on Twitter: New rumors say that 2PM was given two options: for Jay to be demoted from his leadership or to leave completely but he was forced to resign It's hard to believe JYP would do this after he stated he will not kick Jay out of the group.

Jay probably believed it was best for the group and JYP Entertainment if he leaves so he doesn't bring them all down. Supposedly, a ton of Jay and 2PM fans are gathering at the Korean airport to protest the departure of Jay. I just read about that - I can definitely see it from his perspective as well. On Wild Bunny one of the members said if people made comments about his body condition then he'd train extra hard afterwards. If he *did* choose this voluntarily and will be better off back home in the US then good luck to him in the future, but there are also conflicting reports of him being forced to resign. I'm just really sad it's almost 100% likely we'll never see him again and almost definitely not as a part of 2pm. No one here has probably watched it, but to even get in to the band they had to go through the Hot Blood training series which involved military style routines on an island and everything - what a waste of all that work. I feel so bad for the fans here as well as overseas - those going to the airport really are showing dedication because it's a long journey (about 2 hours.) to even get to Incheon.

![]() This event reminds me of what happened to Yoo Seung Joon. Well he didn't really bitch about Korea or anything, but he said he was going to the army and ran away to USA. After this certain even alot of Koreans started hating him and branded him as a traitor It's been 10 years now and Korea still hasn't forgiven him ![]() He did an interview about how he's living in China (really sad interview) and all the Koreans said "NOPE U STILL TRAITOR YOU CAN'T COME BACK"

*Update from OneDay's twitter His departure was probably mutual between him and JYP. I hope the fans can somehow convince him to stay (although I doubt it).

I just hope now the band doesn't break up - they've been so successful, but it's only been a year. Also that would kind of leave 2am in the lurch too because a lot of their projects were with 2pm members.

new pictures of Jay's past acts has surfaced... dunno why it came at a time like this. I think it is from his MySpace's blog column. It MIGHT be fake/photoshopped. ![]() ![]() The saddest part from his blog, "Or I could come back.. Get my GED and go to Shoreline CC.. and I would be pretty happy...surrounded by friends and people who care for me... but I wouldn't be able to make as much money...So I would be able to buy my mother nice things... and help with debts and stuff... my mom said to just come back... or do whatever makes me happy.. I don't know what to do..." It was his mom that motivated him to try out at one of JYP's auditions since he had talent in bboying and rapping.

Also they've since shown Wonbin with Jonghoon at the university where they study together and the split was at least (apparently.) acrimonious (sp?) This time it's just been so sudden and shocking - it's really not the way anyone should have to end their career over something like this. I've calmed down, but BWAH. Still, so fed up.

The way it was publicised was that he still remains friends with the rest of the members, but he's focusing on his studies for now. It was a really peaceful kind of leaving for once - pretty out of the blue, but it didn't come from any kind of scandals and the band doesn't seem to have suffered at all. I'm not a big fan of their music, but I do like the band itself - their dynamic on shows is cute to watch and their new image is fun.

I know Jay wouldn't go down to suicide though, he's too good of a guy for that.
