This is stupid now i am gonna be feeling somewhat frustrated the whole day... why did i read this in the morning...
Now I understand the wrath of the netizens.
edit: Actually the more I think about the whole Jaebum incident... this might be intentional. Now all the fans are like NOOOO. Once the dust settles (i think like 6 months or so) JYP is be like guess who is coming back?

I didn't sleep well last night cuz of it... and I'm not the biggest 2PM fan either... already slept through one class *sigh*
Not to distract but wanted to put this song up. It's been kinda lost b/c all of those girl groups released those fast songs but this is a really good ballad

Before he left: When they asked him about his plans in America, he talked about music. He said, "I am planning to study music in America" and "have a time of reflection. I want to show a more mature side both personally and musically."
He also avoided answering questions regarding his plan to return to Korea. His expression showed that it was too early to be discussing about comeback plans. Instead, he expressed, "I want to thank the fans who had come out to the airport," and "I will stay healthy in America. I will COME BACK as a better person."
He is planning to come back. Smart move, this stopped antis getting more support and makes him stay low till this blows over. However, 2pm is now a 6-member group and my guess is that they will remain so because a new member will be probably hated. After an album or two, Jay will come back a changed person.
It's not a final confirmation he'll return though.
The jaebum situation got way out of hand over some stupid immature comments that he made 4 fucking years ago. In kpop there always seem to be retarded fangirls, antifans and netizens. Aren't there any normal fans in korea?
Sucks about him leaving, but can't say I'm too sad after seeing the tears flowing from the stupid fangirls. "NOOOOOO" "DON"T LEAVE"
I agree with someone before that said this was a tipping point and he was thinking of moving back to US before this. If he truly did love korea then he would've made a bigger effort to stay. Apparently there were myspace posts that put korea in a positive light but no statements from jyp regarding that, just a simple apology.

Meaning no, he is not coming back
I thought that 2pm is pretty popular though and haven't they been doing decently lately? I thought that Again and Again and I hate you did decently.

2PM's pretty popular, but damn they've been getting a lot of shit from netizens lately, especially after Again and Again made them big.

Yes on all accounts. If this event never occurred, he probably wouldn't have thought twice about leaving Korea with his contract intact while still with 2PM. He would have pushed through the "mental" toll it took on him since he had support.
2PM got very popular because of "Again and Again" and they won the #1 spot on music shows a lot. They started to receive endorsements, members getting picked to be MC's, being on TV shows, and having their own show called Wild Bunny. The reason why all of this happened is because of 2PM's 1 year anniversary coming up.
According to Twitter.com/twooneday: the person who leaked Jay's negative MySpace comments was a fan of SHINee who was jealous of the success that 2PM has received and believed that it is because of them that SHINee hasn't been so successful this year. Of course, this person could be pretending to be a SHINee fan in order to cause tension between 2 fan bases.

unless jyp took 99% of the profits they made too or something
There is no way he made enough to support him for the rest of his life. Even if JYP split the share 50:50 (which supposedly he does), he still has to split it between the other 6 members. And even still, they don't make that much. They've been around, what, a year? As reference, DBSK made a few hundred thousand USD a year for being one of the best groups in all of Asia. 2PM is no where near that level and couple that with more group members and much smaller income for the group, he probably doesn't have enough for more than a few years of income.

Not to mention most of their songs from their latest album are cover songs...
