Shinee's pretty underrated IMO. Their songs haven't been catchy is the real problem, but I do believe they sing much better than 2PM.
Or maybe they don't have catchy songs because they aren't that good. Some of them do have very good voices while the others are very good at dancing. But not enough of them can sing well enough to carry them to the top. 2PM have enough people with great vocals that can carry the others (one benefit of having more members). I feel like 2PM is an upgraded version of Shinee. I do like a few Shinee songs though but 2PM just has a stronger feel to them which makes them sound and perform better.

unless jyp took 99% of the profits they made too or something
I doubt it. He was on a talk show like a week ago and said he's made almost no money and will continue working so he can make money to send back to his family. Too bad now he won't be anything...

thanks for YT vid
very beautifully sung imo
Wow, great song. Kind of reminds me of Brown Eyed Girl's debut album
oh great add. I'm a huge fan of miss s, ever since they put up that song with nam gyu ri. The singing is really good. They deserve to get a lot of recognition for their skills. I'm not too fond of korean rapping in general, but miss s makes it work pretty well, even though they mix them.

Yeah, 2pm is regarded as a more mature style of 'boy' band here. SHINee is mainly designed specifically to draw in nuna fans (like myself.) who get suckered into loving their cuteness and all those weird tie-dye outfits. I wasn't fussed on their latest mini album, but their new concept was at least a little bit different and I still support them even if I'm way more in to Big Bang, 2pm, Super Junior and U-Kiss (even if they are so absent they might as well not be together any more ;_;)

i felt emasculated after it.
Kevin is so fake and cheesy on Pops in Seoul. My friend has seen more 'off-shot' videos of him and she says even his voice is higher pitched when he knows he's being recorded. I love U-Kiss because they're so international and they speak a ridiculous amount of languages. Also even though I think they're pretty aware that their management are idiots who can't promote them to save their lives they're still living it up and having fun holidays together in China promoting themselves. Also the least obviously attractive member of the group is the power vocalist and only speaks Korean - it's a nice change from those members who speak a trillion languages *and* are the most talented dancer/singer in their group.

Ah did you see this;
Sohu New Korean News Line: SJ-M (SM Entertainment) will release their new Chinese mini-album at the end of September. They will return to the Chinese music scene and carry out promotional activities.
I'm pretty happy - I'm not very big on Chinese music, but Suju-M make some nice stuff. Also;
Jay's support petition online has reached over 100k signs in almost 2days(which is insane), it's going to be interesting to see what happens next with 2PM

Latest news is; Taek and Wooyoung will continue their regular MCing duties as usual and Dream Concert 2009 (October 10th) has 2pm on the line up which was just announced. They photo shopped Jae out of the pictures.
Seattle fans have posted fancams of Jae apparently quietly leaving the airport and at the JYP offices in the US fans have copied their Korean counterparts and left supporting post-it notes plastered all over the windows and doors for Jaebeom.
