Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.

Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.

You'll adopt a pair of twin asian girls and dress them and makeup them like Tiffany throughout their growth (two just in case one goes poorly), and from there god knows what

Good lord hahahaha XD
Who knows Requizen, give it a few years and a girl just might change your mind about that, however unlikely it sounds at the moment ^^

I was wondering, how many of you can actually understand the lyrics in korean songs? For the ones that don't, do you search for translations, or do you just ignore the lyrics? Of course this question is mostly relevant for ballads, I assume the poppy songs have terrible lyrics, just like in Dutch and English.
I'm asking because I'm getting the feeling that I'm missing out sometimes, and I hope you guys have ways to alleviating that.
Lyrics for any even semi-popular group are available online. You pick up a lot of words and phrases, but you can't understand the entirety of the song without actually speaking Korean.
Sometimes you look up the lyrics, other times you don't care.
I don't understand anything but a few words but if I really like a song badly I'll check translations only so I can get a general feel of what they are singing about. I think it's a bit different for us who don't speak english at home because I don't think it's weird at all to listen to songs that I don't understand the lyrics of. Even today I won't translate english songs in my head while they are singing so korean lyrics doesn't bother me at all.
Same as above i can only make out a few words, but ive only looked up lyrics for like 2 songs ever. Lyrics have never really mattered much for me, even in english and swedish songs where i understand the lyrics. Beats, melody and flow of the song has always been more important for me
Sometimes it is better to not know the lyrics to the poppy songs. But then there's them ballads and full of feeling songs which you must know what they are saying.
I couldn't really care less about lyrics and that's not only in Korean songs (where I understand very little) but it also goes for English and Danish. As mentioned above, beat, melody and general flow of the music is everything to me. Awesome lyrics are nothing but a bonus.

what? That is kinda weird, I am not sure why they would play that.
With foreign music it's normally just a short clip and usually with mostly the english or instrumental part, used to transition to commercial generally, but sometimes in a quick so-far-today / so-far-this-week montage.
Lol I have no idea, my sister pointed to the TV when I wasn't watching, but ya it was really short clip of that one scene where they were hitting the ball back and forth, ya know, that one scene.

I understand some sentences in some songs like 30% since I am learning Korean tho most of them I have no idea what it means.. also not all have terrible lyrics

Same. Although that's only if I'm really trying and listening to the lyrics. If I'm playing a game or whatever I'm not paying attention to the lyrics at all and have no idea what they're saying.
