With foreign music it's normally just a short clip and usually with mostly the english or instrumental part, used to transition to commercial generally, but sometimes in a quick so-far-today / so-far-this-week montage.

With that video also randomly comes the realization that we all one day will end up seeing our favorite idols get married (happily, with luck) and grow old :S I wonder when the day will come when I'm middle-aged and telling my kids about kidols (they'd better go mainstream by then, if not then whatever lol).... that's a weird thought. Just as when you were a kid and you had a teacher or older family reminisce about teenage olympic champion when they were young, or something along those lines.

I'm taking my infatuation to the grave, I'm not going to sit around and tell my kids (not like I'm ever going to have any anyway) about the time I was in love with a pseudo celebrity from another country and talked about her on the internet like a creeper. Like, fuck, how do you even justify talking about something like that?

But how are you gunna explain to your kid, that they found an old body pillow of tiffany lying around gathering cobwebs in the attic? Or better yet, how do you respond to your kid when you find out he too ordered a body pillow of his current generation's kpop idol, without sounding like a giant hypocrite? ![]()
