- When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
- No reposting of old material unless justified
- Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
- No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
- Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
- No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
- No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
- Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up. |

Well, the kind of public exposure shes gotten at such an early age should come in handy if she becomes an idol later on. I would argue that she is developing her skill-set through those things. You don't prepare to play in the NBA by going 1v1 vs Lebron in a bball game as a 12 year old, you don't prepare for the olympics by competing in the gold medal match, you shouldn't prepare to be a kpop star by trying to debut as a kpop star. Yea I agree its a stretch, but we haven't seen the full picture yet. Only time will tell.
Its an unusual thing to do but saying it may not help/pay-off in the end already doesn't seem right.

The same kind of situations could arise when shes actually an idol. Isn't it better that she gets exposure to them earlier on? Not if she can't sing, dance, or even speak the damn language. Then let her do it during her time in a trainee setting, not as a member of a well established kpop group.
It wouldn't be that big of an issue if she started training at the age of 8, and then they debuted her now. (though, some would question the ethics of creating an idol at that age)

One of the most striking things that KKS said which wasnt discussed at all was when he said that the BTS staff were suffering greatly. Not just from Hwayoung (lol) but because of their terrible pay and poor conditions. I would like it if someone can explain to me why this is? In a situation where there is too much staff, and not enough pay, shouldn't the boss simply proportionately reduce the number of activities and staff instead of upping the working hours and increasing the pressure?
|
I don't know, but I do think it's going a little far to be an anti of her personally when all of the aforementioned things are management issues/company decision issues. I really doubt that she has much of a say in whatever goes on.
Also, i'm genuinely intrigued on how she'll turn out later. Debuting a (trainee?) like that hasn't really been done before so i don't want to comment on how it will turn out in the long run. I just don't know.

Because either he's incompetent or all those staff are needed, and reducing the number of working hours wouldn't make sense because then he'd be losing revenue and have to pay employees less. You also have to remember that just debuting a girl group is a multimillion dollar investment, and that's just up to the debut. With each release you gotta pay for the rights to the songs and lyrics, the wardrobe, the makeup, the living expenses for the members, the cost of producing an album, etc., and then turn enough profit to make back those millions you spent on voice/dance/acting lessons and so on. Reducing hours means it'll be even harder and take even longer to do that.

Who's fault it is doesn't matter, who she is and her skills do. What 12 year old girl is going to turn down being on T-ara? There's a reason that they are called minors cant make certain decisions for themselves, so I blame the company for taking advantage of that. I don't know maybe im overly sympathetic but can you really expect a 12 year old to dance/sing at the level of T-ara? Can you also blame a 12 year old for going along with being on T-ara?
I just don't like seeing people attacking her personally, when i feel that shes more a victim/being used in this case.

KKS sucks and his company sucks. He's a liar and he will probably ruin that poor Dani's life just like he did to Hwayoung. Her parents should grab her and gtfo.
