To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
  • Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
  • When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
  • No reposting of old material unless justified
  • Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
  • No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
  • Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
  • No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
  • No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
  • Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)

Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

That's not exactly what im trying to get at... it seems to me that she has gotten alot of hate. All im saying is that I don't think there is enough out there about her to love or hate her at this point.

she is 12
added to the list

Well, that could turn out to be a good thing. Entering at such an age is actually highly conducive of developing greater talent later. The sooner in life she starts practicing the better she should theoretically be later on. I could only imagine this is magnified by joining a brand as well-known as T-ara.

So shouldn't she be more of a trainee and focus solely on developing her skill set?

Well, the kind of public exposure shes gotten at such an early age should come in handy if she becomes an idol later on. I would argue that she is developing her skill-set through those things.

You don't prepare to play in the NBA by going 1v1 vs Lebron in a bball game as a 12 year old, you don't prepare for the olympics by competing in the gold medal match, you shouldn't prepare to be a kpop star by trying to debut as a kpop star.

Yea I agree its a stretch, but we haven't seen the full picture yet. Only time will tell.

Its an unusual thing to do but saying it may not help/pay-off in the end already doesn't seem right.

If she was just a trainee she would be working and focusing on developing as an idol and getting better with no distractions. In the situation that she is in it's really easy for her to get distracted and let what people say about her get to her and detract from what she is suppose to do.

The same kind of situations could arise when shes actually an idol. Isn't it better that she gets exposure to them earlier on?

Not if she can't sing, dance, or even speak the damn language. Experience is one thing, tossing someone into the ocean before they know how to swim is another.

It's been sniped, BRAH. Get on my level.

I think we could seriously report KKS as a warcriminal, worse than kony, easily.

She has plenty of time to learn all those things.

Then let her do it during her time in a trainee setting, not as a member of a well established kpop group.

It wouldn't be that big of an issue if she started training at the age of 8, and then they debuted her now. (though, some would question the ethics of creating an idol at that age)

One of the most striking things that KKS said which wasnt discussed at all was when he said that the BTS staff were suffering greatly. Not just from Hwayoung (lol) but because of their terrible pay and poor conditions. I would like it if someone can explain to me why this is? In a situation where there is too much staff, and not enough pay, shouldn't the boss simply proportionately reduce the number of activities and staff instead of upping the working hours and increasing the pressure?

I don't know, but I do think it's going a little far to be an anti of her personally when all of the aforementioned things are management issues/company decision issues. I really doubt that she has much of a say in whatever goes on.

Also, i'm genuinely intrigued on how she'll turn out later. Debuting a (trainee?) like that hasn't really been done before so i don't want to comment on how it will turn out in the long run. I just don't know.

I just checked SM Town's website and did a Naver search. It's legit. What it means, I don't know. It could possibly be just hype for the SM Town Best Album 3 coming out in a few days. Seems like a really weird way to hype that kind of album though.

Fine, on a less business oriented level I think she's ugly and untalented. Even if she did speak Korean (lol) and joined a rookie group I'd consider her a troll.

Because either he's incompetent or all those staff are needed, and reducing the number of working hours wouldn't make sense because then he'd be losing revenue and have to pay employees less. You also have to remember that just debuting a girl group is a multimillion dollar investment, and that's just up to the debut. With each release you gotta pay for the rights to the songs and lyrics, the wardrobe, the makeup, the living expenses for the members, the cost of producing an album, etc., and then turn enough profit to make back those millions you spent on voice/dance/acting lessons and so on. Reducing hours means it'll be even harder and take even longer to do that.

She hasn't had time to actually develop any sort of skills and it's not like she is a great dancer or singer. She is also 12 and at that age she should be working as a trainee rather than being thrown into an already established group.

Why would anyone cut off Nicole from that gif ? Sick twisted people out there I tell you... Smh.

Why don't you remedy the situation TuElite?

I don't have the shuppeling gif, guess I didn't save it or that I misplaced it. This should do.

THEY ARE DISAPPROVING OF YOU XENO

Good night everyone.
Xeno, reflect on what you've done. I hope Nicole comes to you in your dream to show you the light.

Psh, you don't even have the shuffling gif. You must not be a very big fan of Nicole.

She doesn't even speak Korean.. Even pre-debut Tiffany was better than that and she still got flak for it

Damn... Tuelite probably just jumped off of a bridge after that...

She can learn Korean, like I said before these are more management/company decision issues then issues with dani herself. So being an anti (and calling anyone who likes her crazy and a pedophile) seems a little overboard for me.

Also, i'm not much of a taeyeon fan anymore

Even if it's the company's fault that doesn't change the fact that she can't sing dance rap or act, and while it was the company's decision to debut her before she was ready that doesn't change the fact that she isn't ready. Who's fault it is doesn't matter, who she is and her skills do.

What 12 year old girl is going to turn down being on T-ara? There's a reason that they are called minors cant make certain decisions for themselves, so I blame the company for taking advantage of that. I don't know maybe im overly sympathetic but can you really expect a 12 year old to dance/sing at the level of T-ara? Can you also blame a 12 year old for going along with being on T-ara?

I just don't like seeing people attacking her personally, when i feel that shes more a victim/being used in this case.

KKS sucks and his company sucks. He's a liar and he will probably ruin that poor Dani's life just like he did to Hwayoung. Her parents should grab her and gtfo.
