Man, she's a thirteen year old trying to join a top tier Kpop group and you can't understand why people would take issue with that? Her very existence is a KKS troll. I'm sure she's a very sweet girl and a human being deserving of pursuing her dreams, but there is no place in T-ARA for a 13 year old. It just doesn't fit their concept whatsoever.

So essentially, you have a perfectly tasty steak, well cooked (medium rare OBVIOUSLY), with just salt and pepper. Then they started adding shit on to it, like useless garnishes. Eventually they decide, FUCK IT, we'll just sprinkle it with sugar. See the first few attempts were at least thinly veiled as trying to improve the already perfect steak, eventually it got to the point where they started adding stuff that was completely irrelevant.

Well, that could turn out to be a good thing. Entering at such an age can actually be highly conducive of developing greater talent later. The sooner in life she starts practicing the better she should theoretically be later on. I could only imagine this is magnified by joining a brand as well-known as T-ara.

![]() I don't have the shuppeling gif, guess I didn't save it or that I misplaced it. This should do. (Closing in on 5k pictures, so hard to keep everything organised...) THEY ARE DISAPPROVING OF YOU XENO Good night everyone. Xeno, reflect on what you've done. I hope Nicole comes to you in your dream to show you the light.

Not everyone in this thread is over 18 or w/e you deem young enough to like a 12 y/o girl (but I think shes 13 if that matters as well). Probably calling on the same Korean dude who owns that car to use it for the MV lol On August 07 2012 16:15 XaI)CyRiC wrote: Agree that Hyuna > 4minute. She's just a head above the rest of the group in terms of stage presence and marketability (which includes appeal in variety settings). It's not just that, it's that Cube haven't even tried to let the public get to know the rest of the group at all, or if they have their personalities are so flat they don't leave an impression at all (I've watched like 4 separate variety shows with them in it and remember nothing about them other than their maknae acted cute for like 5 seconds). The music that they try to push is terrible as well, they're either kpop generic as shit (muzik, hot issue) that isn't memorable at all- I had to youtube search the group just to make sure I remembered all of them and what they sounded like- or I think they're actually terrible (Volume Up). The problem isn't that their music is terrible, it's that it's not memorable. No matter what you feel about groups like A Pink or 2ne1 musically, they're distinctive and you know what kind of shit they're going to push. For the past 2 years 4minute has just pushed out generic song after generic song. A song like Volume Up is the kind of song I'd show to a friend who wanted to know what kpop was about, if I didn't want him to actually like the genre. I used to say it as a joke but KKS actually is pretty smart and competent, he just made 1 huge mistake and his management style isn't suited for this crisis. See, KKS has one crisis management tactic- distract the shit out of everybody with other trivial shit. When PJY was criticized for being bitchy during performances, CCM released press about how tired she was and everyone hated on KKS for being a slave driver instead- same for all the sleepy EJ vids and that one clip of the girls actually sleeping on a variety/talk show. When PJY stripcam scandal broke CCM first covered it up and then made everyone focus on the company by posturing and talking about prosecution. When Hwa joined the group and everyone was bitching and moaning he just shoved her into as much shit as possible and gave her the most lines while releasing ridiculous statement after ridiculous statement that caused everyone to hate him and perceive him as incompetent- which got all the fans circlejerking about how much they hate CCM rather than circlejerking about how much they hate Hwayoung. People kept bitching about how stupid KKS was to add her (and later Ahreum and Dani) and eventually Hwa got fans. (this is incidentally why I believe in my Dani is a distraction to get people to not hate Hwayoung theory is true, cause this is all KKS does) The problem with this situation is that 1. He waited the weekend to address the rumors, letting all the netizens compile "evidence" (all of which so far has been either flimsy, contradicted by other statements, retracted, or proven false) before releasing any kind of statement at all, so by the time he did say something everyone had already decided that 6-ara are bitches and EJ is a sadistic bitch who loves to make young girls choke on ricecakes. 2. The distraction tactic isn't going to work when the thing you're trying to distract them from is huge. No one cares about Hwa not performing one time or KKS threatening her or any of that shit when bullying is such a big deal out of a girl group and such a big social issue in Korea as well 3. No matter how you feel about the new members, the tweet incident by itself proved how fucking stupid the idea was from a BTS/group dynamics angle. Many other people, both here and in other places, have made this point- sticking 3 girls into a successful and "complete" group for the purpose of increasing ad revenue (or something) and then threatening to kick out the original members if they don't work hard enough (translated, make CCM that money) was a terrible move. It's even worse considering that they have to pretend to like each other all the time while competing for attention, lines, and even a spot in their own fucking groups. It doesn't even matter if 6-ara are complete bitches or normal human beings, any reasonable person is gonna get pissed in that situation. Whether 6-ara are huge bullies or not, it's really KKS's fault for setting all this shit up. As with all my long essays I end by wondering why I bothered to type that all up...meh On August 07 2012 16:41 wei2coolman wrote: So essentially, you have a perfectly tasty steak, well cooked (medium rare OBVIOUSLY), with just salt and pepper. Semi-keeps them under wraps, while training them to be the perfect A few months - a year before debut, they do a pre-debut to build hype. Debut at around the age of 17~18. What KKS did. Grab untalented 12 year old, who can't speak Korean that well. Shove her into one of the arguably best kpop groups. Expects her to profit. Essentially you're shoving a baby off of a cruise liner, and expecting it swim~

I read all of it ![]() The thing is you don't need to control your girl groups by doing shit they don't like, I read somewhere (either the Kara split fiasco or one of the numerous articles talking about how poor non S-class idols actually are) that most idol contracts include both long (5 years or 12 if you're SM LOL) contracts that idols can't just break out of; if they try to they have to pay some large ridiculous sum of 800k or more. And even then if you break out JYJ have proven that you'll get blacklisted from performing anything at all if you do come out. CCM controls the girls entire careers, rebel and you lose your part in the drama CCM was trying to get for you, no lines or MV time at all, or kicked out of the group entirely. Even if T-ara was getting unruly (and I see no evidence for it) adding new members and PUBLICLY (being the key here) threatening the existing members with getting kicked out is way too heavy handed.
