1. Suzy is probably my favorite maknae right now. She pretty much always looks good, with no bad angles and is still attractive with little to no makeup. Her personality is quite dorky, but her cuteness/appeal seems genuine and not an act. She's not the best at aegyo or acting sexy, but manages to appeal regardless. She had her chubby phase, but I didn't think it was as big a deal as most people.

I get the Krystal appeal, but I can't help but feel like she'd blend right in amongst the Asian girls I see here in LA all the time. Plus, I get the bratty impression from her for some reason. Ga-in has her moments, but is one of those who looks her best with a heavy makeup on, which is a bit of a negative for me. Seohyun is so stiff and boring most of the time, and comes off as a bit of a try-hard or phoney to me when she's trying to be cute or appealing. When not acting or trying to be cute, her natural expression makes her look uptight and stern.

2. Ellin ~ Soyul > Gummi > Twins IMO. I can't get over that the twins look like Kan Mi Yeon, who I have never found attractive. The group's appeal to me is that they are cute, but don't come off as trying too hard or being over the top. Their songs are catchy and cute, and I really like their choreography as it goes well with the music and their image. They're not the most talented or most attractive group, but I think they have an identity and execute it well.

3. Agree that BoA's choreography in her new song doesn't seem to match the music. It's intricate and impressive on its own, but it seems to completely ignore the music. I agree with the contrast to Taeyang's choreography which usually does a very good job of matching the music and conveying the emotions involved. BoA is very talented for sure, but this was not one of her better songs or performances.

Thread's garbage now. Literally just a bunch of people turning this into an irc chat room with pic spams and one liners about their lives and random conversations that have nothing to do with the overall topic. Shit gets derailed so fast.

I read and I watch vids to see if there's any substance in here. Occasionally there'll be some, but for the most part just a bunch of garbage in here. Spammed pictures, little content, essentially no discussion. It gets annoying having to sift through pages of stuff just to find maybe one or two posts that contain any worthwhile substance.

I don't think you quite get the Krystal appeal. That is her appeal. Sort of spoiled, bitchy, entitled, pseudo Korean-American valley girl. As for Seohyun, it's true she gives the stiff/uptight underclassmen vibe.. which also has a market.

I've realized that contrary to my previous beliefs I don't hate the sound of Japanese singing/Jpop songs, I just hate the way kpop groups sound when they sing in Japanese. Listened to some jpop for the first time over the weekend and found it actually pretty enjoyable.
