gomtv playing 5dolls on SC2 stream is so bad, I know they play whatever's popular but I was not under the impression that they were that popular. Not too surprised actually, CCM seems to be pushing co-ed/5dolls as hard as they can, what with getting Jay Park to guest in their MVs (and it's clear they're famewhoring; he even has some kind of weird extended dancing bit) and T-ara to sing with them on the weekly shows, they're clearly trying to get them popular by association/as much exposure as they can, but until they can get someone in that group to sing other than Chanmi, get most of the group to not look like trolls (you know something's wrong when Hyewon is supposed to be the "visual" of your group), and hire decent songwriters/buy decent songs, I will remain uninterested. edit- at least they follow it up with t-ara and After School.
5dolls have a reputation in the foreign (and mostly female on the sites I'm speaking about) kpop community for having really bad costumes, rubbish dance routines etc. They're definitely not popular right now in terms of that group of fans.
CCM should get back to stacking their groups with hot but not necessarily talented girls and then relying on said hotness, maybe drama acting, and autotune to win popularity.
Speaking of which, I wouldn't mind seeing an Eunjung/Hyomin/Jiyeon/maybe Qri subgroup. They obviously couldn't sing (although Hyomin's pretty fair at it and can rap), but they could do some early 2ne1 style thing and just autotune the hell out of it; the music would be bad/untalented but it would be really hot+no trolls in the way.

I dont know to what degree of garbage you would liek to put them at. yayaya was already pretty fucking bad.

Like I said, 2ne1 managed to do some pretty fair all autotune songs (can't nobody) that were fairly catchy and required zero talent. Yayaya was only bad because E-Tribe can't actually write songs and has been hiding it since Gee. the instrumental version only shows that the actual tune isn't bad, just that all E-Tribe does is have his groups say nonsensical things (geegeegeegee, yayaya, etc.) edit- again, the point of that group wouldn't be to sound good, it'd be so that you could mute it and watch the performances without the trolls getting in the way.

Not literally, I just mean the heavy autotune to make up for the lack of talent. Keep doing sexy and I'm fine with it. edit- note, I don't mean to say 2ne1 lacks talent, but that those 4 from T-ara do.
