To be honest no one in kara can really sing. They hit the notes but none of them are fabulous at it or anything special. That includes hsy. Just average. Also all 3 from t-ara jiyeon, ham and hyomin can sing. They were actually at first made into a ballad group. Well I wouldn't say they're really good but above average at least. Better than hsy. | ||

Anyway, if you want vocal tier you go for Soyeon, Taeyeon, Navi, Haeri, IU, Younha, Jieun, Raina, and Luna for the top tier. There are plenty of pretty strong singers that round out #2-3 spots in many groups that do fine in OSTs or duets, but they don't generally have the strength of the above. Haeri is the strongest of them all, imo. | ||

Ah. I was under the impression the jiyeon couldn't sing, so they'd have to be carried by Eunjung/hyomin, both of which are fine but not necessarily good enough to carry by themselves. If jiyeon is also average I guess it could work out. Edit- as much as I love jieun, she's only the best in secret. Shes missed that long, high note enough during her shy boy solo that I think her voice isn't the most powerful. She can certainly sing, and in tune, I just don't think she's in the same caliber as some of the others you've listed. | ||
