A game doesn't need to be all about macro and strategy. Just take a look a the Dawn of War 2 games. Not really that balanced and completely different from Starcraft, but still incredibly fun (as long as you are a WH40k fan in the first place, I guess). I also tried to play a little Man of War: Assault Squad co-op and it is really great, but incredibly hard. So that makes me even more curious, even though I didn't like most of the Total War series. :/ | ||

Wing just had the weakest cast cast of characters, not counting SEED Destiny or Victory. The level of "romance" and "love" in most Gundam shows is probably around the same level as Wing. So uh, are you sure it's not like that? ![]() But, the problem is that I prefer shows(and the characters in it) like Gundam Wing and so, even though it's considered rather weak, it's probably the best out of them(for me at least). Plus, the comment which that one person wrote, isn't exactly helping in that regard. Anyway, I will see it when I watch those shows. SEED and 00 seem to be the worst out of the selection regarding "romance". Another matter, why do the Gundam shows feature nudity? The original Gundam had Mirai and Fraw and the film had Sayla...so all female characters were covered. 08 MS Dai had Kiki and Victory Gundam has a bathing scene in it as well. Isn't that somewhat weird? ^^ | ||

And I would choose CoH over Sins any day. Correct, you had to build a gate on that hole to secure a supply line. The three races were very starcraft-like btw. Terrans, Mantis and Celareon=Terrans, Zerg, Protoss. I really liked that game and there was a sequel in the making but they dropped the project back then. It was only me who had the game but since you were able to play it without a CD, you could easily share it. So a friend of mine and I used to play it via LAN and it was awesome ![]() Well, those were the good old times. Nowadays I rarely play games and when I do so, it's only RPGs(in any form, T-RPG, S-RPG etc) and Hack'n'Slash(Dynasty Warriors). Lost interest in playing RTS/FPS games. | ||

I always played the insects, because they had awesome carriers and you could hide somewhere in the FoW and just fighter rush the enemy. Pretty interesting game overall, but I have no idea how it plays with human opponents. I need to install CoH again some day, it was pretty fun too. I prefer MoW:AS for my WW2 battles right now, especially since it is so incredibly realistic. But most people are turned of by the realism and huge amount of micro that is required. I'd say its more of a result of it being anime, than being Gundam. The main character of Victory is like a 12 year old kid, and the show goes to great lengths to make his life as bad as it possibly can be. Alot of the adult women in the show tend to feel very... Maternal around him. But anyway, its really one of the darkest Gundams. The show practically introduces people to kill them. The part where they decide to attack him with rocket launcher weilding, bikini wearing, jet-pack wearing is the most ridiculous thing I've seen in a Gundam show, but its also the only thing I can remember being like that lol | ||
