I've already mentioned this before and it's pretty besides your point but Monogatari gets portrayed in how the characters perceived a scene or want to a scene to be perceived and not really how it happened. So Karen didn't actually destroy buildings as she was fighting with him. it's just how one of them or both perceived it to be: an epic fight between sister and older brother. As an example, Nadeko playing the game of life and twister with Koyomi has all these lewd angles because that's how Nadeko wants to be seen by Koyomi, she's trying to seduce him. While at the same time that's clearly not how Araragi sees her at all given his reaction during the scenes. In contrast the bathing scene with Shinobu wasn't sexualized in the least despite it being about the two characters having a (naked) bath together since neither of them thought of it that way and it wasn't an issue. | ||
