And thanks ![]() TCDB have been good subs http://dbzr.1free.ws/ Havent checked out SD&Taka Kubusubs kind of suck suppiido subs are really fast, but I've noticed some spots where I think the translation is slightly inaccurate. If you want it quick, its still worth it though.

Its really been responsible for the biggest leap in my progress. In my experience, learning japanese is like learning terran. You have to learn a whole bunch of unrelated things very well. Until you know all of them reasonably, you look like a retard. For me, I noticed a sudden shift after studying kanji where I could understand every other sentence. But it took like a year of studying with minimal progress to get to that point. good luck On June 19 2009 22:59 konadora wrote: But even if speed-subs do translate slightly inaccurately, I doubt it'll greatly affect the meaning/delivery of the entire episode as a whole. But for stuff that really depend on accuracy and method of delivery (aka Gintama, etc), I hate speed-subs. Yeah. I've only watched a few speed subs, and the inaccuracies havent been many, and theyve been minor annoyances when they do show up. It doesnt really alter the plot or your understanding, and honestly I doubt the majority of people will catch them

Understanding Kanji allows you to grasp meanings faster, as well as understanding which meaning they are using, like when there are two same words, pronounced the same but with totally different meanings (like hanasu, for example). But I still hate Chinese.

How does kanji help there lol :p Speed subs inaccuracies aren't too horrible nowadays, but I suppose it depends on the quality you hold subs at. For people that don't understand the language, subs are so vital that delivery and small inaccuracies is a fairly big deal, it won't really alter the plot or your understanding, but it'll certainly hurt enjoyment some. But I still hate Chinese. That's alright, I am a native Chinese speaker and I hate Chinese :p It is an excellent way to bypass that barrier, though, being able to plow through kanji just helps a ton. I am not quite sure what you mean by understanding which meaning they are using, since the majority of the time it is context dependent and you don't need to actually see the words to know what they are talking about, but Chinese does resemble Japanese in the sense that there are a good amount of words with the same (or similar) sounds that you need to work on understanding via context. It doesn't really help me other than allow me to read more books than I ought to be able to though, lol.

As for Some Day in the Rain, I can't help but recall a few pages earlier when people are saying about how Aria is too slow paced, lol.

After flipping through channels and shit, I can tell you right here and right now why insecurity-complex-ridden South Korean animation sucks in comparison to Japanese anime... Well...actually I can't...but it does suck really hard. Korean voice actors are fucking horrible...-____-;;

Maybe they just suck lol However, the dubs aren't as bad as Singapore dubs. FUCKING BAD!
