whelp, guess it's the Xmen all over again lol. Supposedly, that beginning was towards the end of the manga. I don't really agree with doing that since even if we were only given a bit, it felt like it spoils the ending. I dunno, they should've just taken it from step 1 and begin with the whole meets penguin thing as the first episode and just proceeded as usual.

While I'm willing to admit that the game had me on edge every time Germany attacked, I think Argentina losing Di Maria, having a Messi who wasn't looking well and forwards that both missed golden opportunities and didn't seem to work well with Messi (see below) lead to them losing against Germany. Let's not forget that early foul that should've been a red and Neuer smacking his elbow into Higuain which got looked over due to being the finals. Germany did lose Khaedira and Kramer so that was problematic too and had 2-3 chances (that header would've haunted them if they lost). Still, I will always cheer for Argentina! I have nothing against close combat mechs in general, but not when it's whole concepit is just a lame excuse to show silly overburdened chasing scene, especially in wannabe serious sci-fi setting. Lasers coming are out of nowhere wiping entire squadrons in one sweep with minimal effort put towards visual effects and scene directing are just a fraudulent creator's move in my eyes. Those scenes should be remarkable and wear some kind of effect on a viewer, who is supposed to be entertained by alien's invasion, not bored to death.

Villians aren't simply 'meh', they are hollow as outerspace vacuum (pun intended). Not interesting to watch, not menacing to dislike, not funny to laugh of. We learned that the assasination was planned by Martians themselves, right? It means they conveniently didn't know about that cheeky double existing at all or maybe this was their plan to begin with. Either way, all compassion I could've had for that princess character blowed out of the window and never returned 'cause she wasn't even in a danger of dying to begin with! Cheap and underselling explanations crippling already uneven storytelling and world building is the name of story for this show, and, coming out from Saya no Uta and Kikokugai writer, it's a double disappointment.

I'll check out the second season when it comes out, but honestly any viable way to save that trainwreck record right from start is yet to be seen. Show went for Code Geass path, but failed in every damn single point that made those famous series catchy, providing unusual experience to follow and appealing to non-mecha fans.

Akame ga Kill, Tokyo Ghoul, Tokyo ESP, have all had really good action, with some complaints from people (particularly Tokyo Ghoul) about characters, but they're all 3 very good IMO. SAO II has been decent so far...i know it gets a lot of hate but i liked the first one, and am enjoying this one as well.(at least its better than ALO arc so far)

Glasslip is what everybody was hyped for, and while it's visually amazing (P.A. works and all) Some of the people here say the story seems like it might need work. But it's only 2 episodes in which is too early to judge a story I think.

Barakamon is refreshingly light and funny, well made. It's getting pushed by a lot of people here.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is somewhat of a surprise, has been really good for the first two episodes. it's received quite a bit of talk.

Rail wars is somewhat FanService with some cool trains

Sabagebu is kind of a surprise to me...a Comedy with a good mixture of action and story. Also a harem without a male MC (it's in an all girl school)

Ao Haru Ride has potential to make a great romance but has only been decent so far. Could get a lot better, there's an interesting conflict going on between the 2 MC's.

DRAMAtical Murder has an interesting futuristic setting with some cool gadgets and somewhat of an ok story. (something like a full dive VR fighting game)

Majimoji Rurumo has potential but spends way too much time on jokes about the virgin MC (interesting idea for a story though...getting to make wishes but it costs your life)

Zankyou no Terror had some hype but didn't live up to it IMO. First episode was somewhat bland and story seems like something that's been played out many times before...still not a terrible one though.

Momo Kyun Sword is really ridiculous...but the FemC has really huge boobs that bounce in weird ways when she's sword fighting.

Bakumatsu Rock has some good music, and feels moments but the overall plot line is pretty ridiculous

Love Stage! is shit i dropped (which should be a big deal as i'm keeping watching almost every other show this season)

a lot of people are talking about Aldnoah but im not that into mech's so i haven't tried it out yet

oh yeah, and Kurshitsuji: Book of Circus has only really set up the demon butler/child lord (and queens guard dog) dynamic without touching the season's story yet I liked the original, and i never read manga so it going off like it did didn't bother me...and this one seems like it'll be better

Lol i finally understood that scene in + Show Spoiler [nekomonogatari] + .. hanekawa is so kinky .. she basically showed araragi her panty once just via araragi requesting her and even gave araragi her used panty .. wth ? lol

now after reading this it makes me wonder how the hell araragi resisted going for hanekawa and ended up with Senjougahara.
