I'll be watching Illya and Glasslip. Akame ga Kill will probably bore me after reading the manga, but I might watch it. I'll watch Jinsei if I'm having trouble falling asleep on weekends.
I downloaded Nanoha StrikerS recently and will probably be watching that next weekend. Too hyped.

@Ryuhou)aS( Sidonia has a really good story that you may like. It's mech but I think 2-3 episodes should give you a fair idea whether you'll like it or not.

Well, Sidonia isn't really a mech show imo. Sure the humans fight in mech suits but they look all the same and they aren't the focus of the series at all. Its not like the Gundam series where you see all the different types of models and stuff, even when they get "new" models they look exactly the same pretty much.

All it takes for it to be a "mecha show" is to have mecha in existence. Thats it, lol. Everything looking the same is irrelevant. The only mecha shows where the actual mecha is the focus is like Transformers and the Yuusha series, and it should be obvious why they are the focus in them.

I think you both make some good points though I would still call Sidonia a mech anime despite not having much diversity in the mech suits used. Either way, I'm excited for a season 2 lol.

For the record, any anime that has a toaster in it is also mecha anime, because toasters are considered mecha.

My opinion is that the first episodes were nice (When we get to see some mech action + different cultures meeting and having communication issue).
But then, it became boring.

Soredemo sekai ending was awful. The entire show was pretty mediocre after the first few eps. There were zero interesting ideas introduced after the initial development.

Although all this said, its definitely better than Valvrave, and Bigfan liked Valvrave, so why not this?
