So don't stop talking its pretty normal that you have arguments with them. I suggest you quickly forget what happened with her if i learned something in my life it would be to never let some fight have a longer duration since it is generally a bad idea to let some bad air go on for a long time. The faster you forgive and forget the better. But that's just my opinion.

Of course then we had + Show Spoiler +After Petra died, when Levi goes to talk to her father and before he gets to bring it up the guy talks about how dedicated she was and how she was in love with Levi, and so Levi didn't have the heart to tell her dad she was dead. Rather heartbreaking. Dammit, Annie.
Yeah, more romance in SnK would be a bad idea. But even something small would do for me, like in FMA we had Winry come around every few arcs, or the awesome suppressed HawkeyexMustang tension. But again, I don't see a way for that to be smoothly added in so SnK will likely never be favorite. Though I can see how someone less romance-focused (lonely? DX) could love the show.
It's not that we're fighting. In fact I actually ended up apologizing to her for being so sensitive and we're on good terms again. It's just that she really pissed me off and I'd rather not invite a situation that might involve that kind of emotion again. There are other things to talk about than anime. :D

As do a lot of other character in the series, who also works on getting over them. The basis of character development, really. Nothing special, especially when there isn't much of it shown at all.
Neko Kuro did nothing for Hanekawa and Neko Shiro was a showcase for Gahara-san. Koi was the first glimpse at Hanekawa after her resolution and Owari was the first time the readers actually got a good look at Hanekawa. Considering how the last isn't until S3, there just hasn't been much of anything to like Hanekawa with.

Just wanted to drop it in here after LH 18 Hime-chan is definitely best character. Funny that so far she's been the most 'human' to me.
Bat a best. I lost it after the first 'vampire punch' during Nadeko Medusa after especially Mayoi Jiangshi.
I'm trying to think of an anime that does good subsumed romance, but the problem I think is whether the romance has been subsumed intentionally and contributes to the show (and actually has a chance of being resolved) or is just a bone thrown out to viewers 'just cause' and won't ever be resolved because it doesn't fit in to the show. Like, for example, Fairy whether Natsu x Lucy or + Show Spoiler + will never be resolved because it just doesn't fit into show and because Natsu is made to be intentionally blind to it all (forgive me if there's been developments in that direction because I gave up the manga when the tournament arc after the island arc started).
I guess that's in contrast to FMA:B where you see Edward grow physically at the same time as mature, and the whole thing with Winry felt pretty natural and expected. Bildungsroman as another theme if you will.

Originally, I liked the fact that he always wanted to fight and such but then he could never actually put up a fight until much later on(if even) and that made it annoying. For comparison purposes, Naruto was somewhat similar but he at least put up a lot of fights and actually won. Didn't happen as much with Eren. Mikasa became my favourite after that lol. Once I got to that episode that constantly repeats, I pretty much wasn't as interested to continue watching. I plan on finishing it though to see what's going to happen. Anyone else here feeling indifferent about Haruhi anime? I think lack of any type of romance(from what I recall) was a factor although the story is definitely interesting when I think about it. In general, it somewhat reminds me of + Show Spoiler +little busters with the world and all.
Good, don't finish it. You should just drop Haruhi since it's bad and isn't any good once it hits Endless Eight. Especially since you're not telling your age.

And it was funny that she also didn't like Haruhi Suzumiya so she also bashed me of it. Actually now that i think of it all of my friends who liked the Maid-show and SAO hated haruhi lol. So don't stop talking its pretty normal that you have arguments with them. Haruhi anime is evil >.> lol. More serious note, one of the only animes that I have yet to finish. Once I got to that episode that constantly repeats, I pretty much wasn't as interested to continue watching. I plan on finishing it though to see what's going to happen. Anyone else here feeling indifferent about Haruhi anime? I think lack of any type of romance(from what I recall) was a factor although the story is definitely interesting when I think about it. In general, it somewhat reminds me of + Show Spoiler +little busters with the world and all. Good, don't finish it. You should just drop Haruhi since it's bad and isn't any good once it hits Endless Eight. Especially since you're not telling your age.
nah, I finish what I start lol. I just don't see as anything special(story was captivating at first but feels empty for some reason now). What does age have to do with Haruhi? lol.

Didn't watch it 'for the romance'. I'm just saying they handled it in an irritating manner (random awkward Lucy with Natsu, Natsu with Lisanna). I mean I stopped watching the anime because I started reading the manga and realised how much useless filler there was, then I stopped reading the manga because I ran out of patience.
Yeah ok I guess I should admit that I am a little bit of a sucker for romance done well (kind of why I'm such a sucker for Guy Gavriel Kay books) and feel irritated when it's done bad.
