My point is that you people are insane if you think a character that's telegraphed from the very beginning to be used for important things and plot device isn't going to do that. Think of it this way. Achilles is awesome, but everyone knows that Achilles is awesome. Because even before he even did anything, there were prophecies and shit of him accomplishing awesome shit if he should commit to doing them. The idea of Toad posting that only a few people realizing the said obvious is like...of course. Everything is already in place for the obvious conclusion. Why are you touting it like it is something new?

I'm trying to understand what the big deal is about agreeing with Toad that she's an awesome character lol. I'm not disagreeing on her position as a very important character in LH since it's been pointed out for a while now (since she got introduced or next episode). I never touted it as anything new. Are you talking about the 'spread the message' part? It's called having some fun with posting lol. I dunno when the transcripts were spammed here since my history in this thread isn't as long as a lot of the regulars so chances are I missed them.

I don't get what's the point of redoing the movies since they hold up well and 12 episodes will end up even shorter than the movies. Just look on the bright side that the series is still being thought of even though it will be a long time before there is enough manga content for more movies or episodes.

I'm trying to think of an anime that does good subsumed romance, but the problem I think is whether the romance has been subsumed intentionally and contributes to the show (and actually has a chance of being resolved) or is just a bone thrown out to viewers 'just cause' and won't ever be resolved because it doesn't fit in to the show. I guess that's in contrast to FMA:B where you see Edward grow physically at the same time as mature, and the whole thing with Winry felt pretty natural and expected. Bildungsroman as another theme if you will.
hmmm i disagree .. if you actually listen to the idle chatter in the manga and the little things you will notice some really cheesy stuff from Natsu. And i didn't even notice it for like almost a year of watching Fairy Tail but if you pay attention to the minor details. there is a lot of subtle romance in the air. I mean a lot . I won't go into detail since this is not the Fairy Tail thread.
Just consider that since Rave Master was the previous work of the author Fairy tail and guess what happened in the ending despite being a shounen + Show Spoiler +. It was shounen and you know that most shounen just leave the romance be even at the end of the show. So that should give us a hope and hints.
Also i remember reading some news before that the author was kinda furious with the studio animating Fairy Tail since they were not following the cannon pairings somewhere along those lines.
There can't be an assurance that we will see the pairings in the end but one can have hope lol

And it was funny that she also didn't like Haruhi Suzumiya so she also bashed me of it. Actually now that i think of it all of my friends who liked the Maid-show and SAO hated haruhi lol. So don't stop talking its pretty normal that you have arguments with them. Haruhi anime is evil >.> lol. More serious note, one of the only animes that I have yet to finish. Once I got to that episode that constantly repeats, I pretty much wasn't as interested to continue watching. I plan on finishing it though to see what's going to happen. Anyone else here feeling indifferent about Haruhi anime? I think lack of any type of romance(from what I recall) was a factor although the story is definitely interesting when I think about it. In general, it somewhat reminds me of + Show Spoiler +little busters with the world and all.
Oh don't watch the entire endless 8 unless you feel like being crazy.. just watch the first second and the last part. That's all you need to understand the story. Finish it quickly and watch the movie "Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" . I assure you the movie is great and it has a completely different atmosphere than the usual happy go lucky haruhi series. It has a serious and cold atmosphere.

I don't actually like her and she's the sad second last place for me, only before Kanbaru who really shouldn't be part of the competition. Actually... Hachikuji I guess but anyways Hanekawa isn't as good as the rest for sure.
2) Like the good guy I am I obviously skipped the parts that were spoilering on 4chan and only read about the stuff that I already knew 
It's mostly her awkard facial expression for me.

No way that you knew that the princess of the rose garden thing was a spoiler. Mostly because it wasn't so much of a spoiler than the guy teasing with already printed materials soon to be animated.
I still maintain that S2 didn't really show Hanekawa either.
