Well, ignoring what I felt was a wasted chance and good buildup, True Tears wasn't bad or anything. Just disappointing lol. I think most seem anime as cartoons so they don't give them a chance, meh doesn't matter to me lol. it took me over 40 minutes or so to write that reply to your wall of text as well lol. I say we are even  I think there was a hint or rather back in the restaurant(will have to rewatch to double check) they had the same convo shown but we didn't pick up on it. Though I was really annoyed with how Death Note ended, not that it matters + Show Spoiler +since the show ended when L died, so regardless of me wanting Kira to win it didn't matter once we didn't have L around anymore . I don't know what you were expecting from the plot summary lol, they are all like that and I think they worked with what they had better than most shows, certainly better than Toradora . Of that type of shows I've watched I felt Hiromi and whatever his name is had a future after the show it ended so I never felt annoyed there wasn't more content. I feel that's mostly older people lol, never met 20 year olds who were like EW you watch anime? my ex was 10 years older than me, so it was to be expected? I remember she said she thought anime was just about Pokemon Lol. Lol yeah it takes a while to read all of that, sometimes I get lost and don't know what you were replying to so I have to reread to what you're replying to lol. Maybe there was but I totally missed it, I mean yeah the whole train thing happened but I thought that was a moment of silence I didn't expect the train to "hide" a conversation. I think Touma COULD HAVE done something before that conversation but she didn't, like she said she's never been in love before so I don't think she was sure what to do (Maybe she assumed Haruki would take the first step?). Setsuna did because well she's Setsuna and she's a lot more confident, she wanted Haruki and since he didn't make the first move she went ahead and did it herself ( I have to admit I liked that about her :o, I like girls who do that lol ). I think Haruki said that because she REALLY respects Touma because of how awesome she is, which I don't think implies he wouldn't have feelings for her but Haruki is so fucking wishy washy about this I hate him a little lol CONFESS TO SOMEONE YOU DICK!. I think Touma was inexperienced and didn't know what to do. Setsuna saw the chance and jumped on the opportunity and well, ended up with him. I don't think many girls would take the initiative to do that though. Even Setsuna said that she was hoping that he would be the one to do it first or rather wanted him to. Well, he's probably unsure of his feelings and wanted to maintain the light band. Makes sense to me from that perspective. Well, next episode is another major one imo. As you mentioned, we get to see how he interacts with Setsuna after her confession and how Touma takes it if she finds out. Keep in mind that Haruki never said that he liked Setsuna, just that he admired her as a person. Admire != like lol. I will reply to it soon enough. Do you want a good reply or a crappy one? Well you got Noe and she's quite different, I think over all the show is quite different because of the subjects they touch in the show, Noe and her brother, whateverhisnameis's parents and their relationship with Hiromi etc. So that alone sets it apart I think. Noe didn't "win" but I don't think that was needed for the show to be different. Hiromi and whateverhisnameis were the most cliche characters there. You want every anime to keep producing episodes until you're completely satisfied lol, Anime company "Omg we've made 1000 episodes, BigFan isn't satisfied yet? WTF!?" BigFan: "NOU KEEP MAKING MORE!, I want to see how their great great grandchildren get along". With that said, take a look at the previous page, I made a post suggesting a couple of very long (70+ episodes) romance type animes. I had a flashback to our conversation about there not being long romance animes around lol when I saw the number of episodes. + Show Spoiler +Yeah exactly, that's why I didn't see what happened as Touma getting rejected, for all we know Haruki is just a pussy and REALLY wanted to be friends with Touma to seduce her eventually and what not. Just because he said person doesn't really means she's not gf material imo. Those moments in romance animes, are like the fights in shounes for me lol. I don't really think he had that in mind about keeping the club together by confessing to one or the other because I don't think he knew they both liked him. Well I'm glad we agree on that, I think True Tears is quite different from other romance animes and the graphics are :O!. Well you could still do that with one long one, the problem is to find a point to pause and not be glued to the computer lol. I would recommend Honey and Clover heavily, it's quite good and it's uncommon though you still get some cliches, it ends different from others, was happy with it. I have no idea what Little Busters is. I just started one called Lamune (12 eps) , looks like a reverse Toradora (without Taiga YAY!), guy and girl bff's from like forever, everyone thinks they are practically married but they seem to not see each other in that light. GO use gogoanime, that website never lets me down always has EVERY episodes any of the shows I wanted to watch has. I also tried some episodes of Special A but it was too comical, was 90% comedy so meh it was pretty funny but I WANT MY ROMANCE! . Though what do you mean by good website? are you picky and want 1080p anime or something? lol. Inuyasha is a great show to watch and add to your anime collection. Since the broadcasting version of Inuyasha on the Cartoon Network is out of order. Had to buy the entire box set serie when I saw the set on sale at last year New York ComicCon.

Toradora is ok so far. That random "special" bird seems weird and they have locked in the two mains to end up together within the first 2 episodes so hard not even God could change that fate but lets see if they can make the ride interesting. Taiga is solid and has some really good moments. Pink hair girl is fun too but her personality is weird, almost like she is a robot permanently set to "Hyper active POSITIVE ATTITUDE" mode and if she ever stops doing that she will explode.

If you want to spin it positively, it is a series about two people discovering their feelings as they change and take form over time. If you want to look at it badly it is about oblivious people not realizing the obvious. Comes down to execution and your preferences with the genre.

Hope I didn't miss anyone's comment. Watched ef last night. I was thoroughly impressed. Finally, an anime that ended the way I wanted it to end and didn't do too badly of a job at it XD I didn't realize what a rollercoaster it would be though. I've never seen such a devious character before. I guess love can make you do crazy things. I recommend this anime to anyone although the first episode did feel a bit confusing with the switching and such so maybe reading just a quick summary after all the first episode is a good idea to clear up confusion(or not read).

I felt that he'll end up with Kei based on how their relationship was progressing and such although it seemed to be a brother-sister relationship from my perspective which was different from Miyako. Kyosuke I think was the better fit for Kei but I'm probably bias for Miyako lol. Seeing Miyako calling and leaving so many messages only to get deleted by Kei who got a hold of Hiro's phone was heartbreaking. Such an evil act lol. I was not expecting Hiro to actually find Miyako at the end though. I figured that she missed her chance once the phone card ran out of funds and she'll have to decide what to do. Their phone conversation was quite intense though especially when Hiro started talking. I could feel the fury of his words which made it that much better and showed that he cared. Renji's relationship with Kei's sister, Chichiro was quite the interesting one though. I wasn't expecting them to throw in the 13 hour twist. I honestly thought she was going to jump off the roof like her novel but glad that it didn't turn out that way. While I would've liked to see more episodes with them together, I feel that they did enough together that more episodes won't change much. I'm glad that they ended up together as well

I also skimmed the first episode, seemed ok but I would need to watch more of it before I make my judgement.

Inori is great lol. Such a bizzare bird but he adds on the anime indirectly. well it gets a bit more interesting as the anime continues for reasons I won't mention yet. You're right though, the anime could have some improvements for certain things. Minori's personality is like that which makes it interesting to watch since you don't know what her response will be like although eventually, you're able to predict it.

Am I the only person here who doesn't know all these different genre names and stuff? No idea what a Josei is until I googled it just now, I watched H&C not knowing this, don't think it's too different from other romance shows. Doesn't look too different from a shoujo anime to me, but I could be wrong.
