Questionable stuff happened during that arc regarding strength that we will have to wait to find out about. Whether ace and the other commanders were = to admirals is up for debate. Whether Whitebeard was holding back is up for debate. While being one of the best displayed arcs in OP imo, I think it opens the most questions on character strength of any arc so far. | ||

Well mihawk chased luffy around for like an entire chapter (called luffy vs mihawk iirc), yet could not catch or strike gear 2 Luffy. then he cut down daz bones wich made crocodile go after him and fight him on par. Mihawk got the least love of all the shichibukais in marineford because he didnt get to do something really badass. Jinbei, Hancock and Crocodile were awesome because they pretty much fucked up anyone who went after luffy, marine or pirate. Doflamingo toyed with croc, temporarily paralyzed jozu just by moving his middle finger, and controlled another whitebeard division commander and made him kill his own division while laughing and making that epic nihilistic speech about how those in power define justice. Blackbeard was a shichibukai at the time and he broke in and freed people from impel down, killed whitebeard and fought sen goku. I Was super hyped to see Mihawk in action in such a stacked fight and see the worlds strongest swordsman wreck some really big fish this time instead of just east blue zoro, but he was neglected completley wich made him look weaker than he should be. His ultimate slash vs Oro jacksson did nothing against jozu and he was the only shichibukai who didnt defeat their WB commander opponant (the spanish looking sword guy with a moustache). Then the next time we meet him he is hanging out with perona and trains baboons... ugh /butthurt fan rant over I know theres other mihawk fans out there. Throw us a bone soon will ya oda, its long overdue. | ||

To others Marineford was a war, to him it was an official appointment. Maybe like a taking a walk or a boring tea and cake party. To me, Mihawk had nothing to lose and nothing to win in Marineford. He wanted to keep his title, so he appeared. He did try to throw a slash at Whitebeard from a ridiculously long distance, but Jozu deflected it. He would have been interested in fighting Whitebeard 1v1, but obviously Whitebeards crew and the marines would interfere with the fight, making any result worthless as it wasn't 1v1. So he just skirmished a bit, so he looks busy to the marines. Just my opinion. | ||

he had a thing with shanks once but shanks is too busy with his crew to be fighting with him, if mihawk is the same type as zoro but has noone above him to chase hed be pretty bored | ||

At first Zoro went with luffy because he owed him his life. He had promised Kuina to become the strongest sworldsman in the world and that is Zoros goal. To become the strongest swordsman you defeat the current champion, so if someone like Shillew defeats Mihawk, Zoro will have to beat Shillew. Its nothing personal against mihawk, Zoro is not out on a vengeance quest against him, he just wants the title. If Miihawk lost the title to someone by being defeated yet somehow survived, Zoro would probably gain a peaceful relationship with Mihawk because he trained him and now he doesnt have to kill him in order to fulfill his goal and keep his promise to kuina and luffy. | ||

She is older and should have slept with men in earlier stages of her life to trick them or get to their good side since she was hunted early on. I don't have any doubt that nami did also. She seemed too tricky to not to. Idk why you are asking this though. | ||

Its really not that complicated to grasp, is it? His goal is to become the strongest swordsman in the world by defeating the current champion, regardless of who currently holds that title. Zoro and Kuina made a pact, promising each others that one of them would become the strongest swordsman in the world one day. Mihawk was never mentioned specificly and if he loses his title, he is no longer relevant to Zoros goal except perhaps as a mentor. BB is confirmed main final antagonist. there was an anime teaser trailer made for the entire new world/last half of one piece shown in japan. It begins with the monster trio fighting the Admirals (Sanji vs Kizaru, Luffy vs Akainu and Zoro vs Fujitora. Then it skips ahead to the blackbeard pirates emerging, shrouded in BBs darkness with looming music playing and blackbeard laughing intimidatingly as the trailer fades out. | ||
