The grand fleet seems like it's meant for the final battle, not this one. It's probably Blackbeard's crew but I hope it's Buggy and the Cross Guild, lol. Didn't Buggy command them to go after the One Piece a while ago?

Alright, we're back in action!
The ancient robot is waking up so we'll probably get a lore dump on that. Saturn's looking like he's going down soon. Luffy has woken up and can finish off Kizaru. Elbaf is literally knocking on the door and there's most likely a Shanks reunion coming as well (unless Blackbeard takes him out first).

Speaking of which, when is that Blackbeard ship outside of Egghead gonna do something?

Blackbeard himself was last on Amazon Lily, right? Hes probably too far from Egghead to make a personal apperance, so my guess will be one of his minions....

Although, that brings me to a thought. We never found out who/how Luffy got fed, right? Doesn't one of Blackbeard's crew have that invisibility Devil Fruit...?

Yeah, i was guessing/ hoping it was BB.... in my mind I was imagining.... it'd be really heartbreaking if BB stormed in and got Kuma's fruit after all we've seen. But in typical Oda fashion the answer was something I didn't forsee. Really awesome to see our bros from 900 chapters ago.

i dont see why shiryu would be feeding luffy randomly on egghead right now. also it wouldnt make sense that hes in the thick of everything and no one notices his presence at all, given that there are multiple observation haki users present.

the leading theory is that kizaru gave him the food. his speed would make it unnoticeable and there are panels which show kizaru to be acting unusual

if you go back to Sabaody even though he curses Kuma for being untrustworthy as a pirate... he ultimately does let him get away with spiriting the Strawhats away to safety.

Why is everyone so impressed with Sanji blocking Kizaru's attack? Anyone with haki can do that.

Also it's nice to see Caribou finally paying off. He'll be able to tell Teach about Poseidon and Pluton and drive the plot forward. Honestly, I'm becoming more and more of a Blackbeard fan with each chapter. The dude has been making nonstop 300 iq moves since Banaro Island and is completely dancing circles around the Yonko, Marines, and now even the Gorosei. I know it's impossible, but I want him to become Pirate King. He deserves it the most.

Theres a thread out there that illustrates the power of a laser/difficulty in blocking one. Short answer is that Lasers have been shown powerful enough to wound Seraphim, Zoro commenting that King's attacks which were "like lasers" were more than he could block, Llsers inflicting more damage against Marco's shield than what Kaido was able to against said shield, and Big Mom opting to use meat-shields to tank lasers (as opposed to just face-tanking it as she does with most other attacks).

Eh, I don't buy it. Lasers stopped being intimidating the second the straw hats started one-shotting pacifistas. And that was 500 chapters ago. Since then, multiple characters have been able to tank laser beam hits no problem. Plus, remember when Luffy literally ate a laser beam for fun?

He ate a laser beam and it didn't turn out well for him. Hes literally burning from the inside at that

Also, show other characters tanking laser beam hits no problem, if you really think thats a thing that happens

Yes he said it was hot and was fine 2 seconds later. There's only one instance that I can remember where a laser did any lasting damage and that was when Franky shot Sasaki in his weak spot, his underbelly. Everybody's been shrugging off laser beams this whole arc. It's been nothing but Seraphim, Pacifistas and Kizaru shooting beams everywhere willy nilly. Even Sentomaru who got dramatically KO'd this arc was fine a chapter later. The only way Kizaru has been able to do any damage is by using his lightsaber.
