I doubt they're all as strong as Kaido but I can see them all being on King's level. They also all probably have strange powers that makes dealing with them tricky. | ||

I'd imagine they are for the sake of raising stakes but storywise I don't think thatd make sense for the elders to be 5 greater than kaidos yet still enable the three great powers system. apparently we have a 3 week hiatus coming up so I'm expecting this next chapter to be crazy. | ||

The way I see it there are a couple of scenarios. 1.) They are just underestimating Luffy I mean that does happen all the time. Which could very plausible. Would the elders of come with just Kizaru if they were try to attack Wano while Kaido was there. 2.)The elders are actually really strong and the only reason they are not active is they use the marines as their face. That being said I really like how the giants saved him similar to how he was saved from the bronto back on little garden | ||

This Kaido simping is always weird (this is the same guy who had lost and been captured multiple times in the past) like the people who still believe Kaido > Luffy in the current state somehow (aka a literal god reincarnated who made the monster rulers of the world come out of their hidey hole) when somebody like shanks could give kaido a pause alone And 800 years is a long time. Gorosei probably had to deal with alot of troublemakers on the level of yonkos before. | ||

Mans built different, I felt like it was pretty clear during Wano that he had about half a dozen things stacked against him in his fight vs. Luffy to make it clear that while Luffy won in the end, it wasnt just because Luffy > Kaido in a 1v1. I dont think Kaido can be safely put below Luffy til Luffy addresses the drawbacks to his... Zoan fruit... transformation... that no other Zoan fruit seems to have... (I will die bitter about this) | ||

They were ruling the world government just fine before they were retconned into being super demons. The Gorosei rule through proxy by utilizing the Marines and Cipher Pol. The only reason they chose to act directly now is because Vegapunk is about to redpill the entire world with his forbidden knowledge and they're the only ones immediately available to stop him. The Gorosei were willing to massacre literally everyone on Ohara because Clover almost said just the name of the Ancient Kingdom. Who knows what Vegapunk is about to say to literally everyone on the planet with a Den Den Mushi? This is a Defcon 1 world ending scenario so they must act now. If it hadn't been for this broadcast I doubt the Gorosei would ever have shown their forms. Even Whitebeard attacking Marineford was not enough. That is all to say... they don't need to be Kaido level to rule the world. They don't even need to be Shichibukai level. Honestly, they don't even need to be fighters at all but I guess Oda started running out of Villains so here we are... | ||
