And I don't want to talk about those plot armors (I'm one of those who believe CC is still alive because Kubo). But at least, maybe he planned something and we'll have a decent plot + some answers about stuff like Aizen. My hopes aren't about giving us a kick-ass story until the end, but about not giving us a "fullbringers story" level arc.

I think it's when the layer of ice got melted, the vacuum will just suck away the fire? (which shouldn't happen in the real world imo) but can the bleach characters breath without oxygen? Also this tactics would have been quite useless if the other guy isn't using any flame techniques lol

Also this tactics would have been quite useless if the other guy isn't using any flame techniques lol wouldnt it be the opposite? if theres a vacuum between layers of ice, when one layer gets melted air would rush in to fill the void pulling the fire in with it it only makes sense if the fire can only exist for a second since the vacuum would prevent it from melting multiple walls at once if it can exist for longer then it would keep smashing through walls

The drawing was kinda bad but it seemed like the ice was a shield, with multiple layers of ice and vacuum. It doesn't make more sense but the vacuum is contained, they still can talk.

I don't think that either of those panels actually counter what was said. It was two shikai of captain and lieutenant class that was as strong as the bankai. Hitsuguya said that the only difference is the volume of ice, which has pretty much always been the case anyways. This is, like MaZza[KIS] said, a fairly well explained power up

My favourite part was the "where her ash was there is a vacuum", implying the ash somehow closed up the openings it left through after taking up that space between the ice walls. Hilarious.
