Noro reminded me of something that I had entirely forgot when I watched episode 2 ...like in 2.9 after the battle they had that conversation about the Hound leaving and his offer to take Sansa back to Winterfell, and then he just like upped and left and they didn't make any mention of it again... With that fact in mind, it makes me wonder if the hostility the Brotherhood without Banners seemed to have towards Sandor Clegane would diminish. Aside from the fact that he was once he was associated with the kingdom, I don't see much reason why they'd dislike him or want him since he was a deserter and obviously doesn't seem to care much for the kingdom or his brother for that fact. Maybe they somehow don't know that nor believe that? or maybe they just don't care. Personally I think it would be cool if they let him go somehow and/or he joined them. That does seem unlikely though, since while he was a deserter, he did still seem to be quite a loyal/honorable person to those who he did serve (Robert, etc.).

I think one of the Clegane brothers did pretty awfull stuff to people of the Brotherhood without Banners (IIRC they talk about it in Harenhal during S2) so I would not see that being a possibility either. On another note, Thoros and his Robin Hood friend both seem pretty badass, hope we see their fighting skills really displayed soon (all this story was missing in terms of fighters were great archers IMO, now we have one at last ![]()

Why isn't there more debate on the fight between Jaimie and Brienne here, first thing I thought after seeing it was "damm people are gonna go crazy on forums about who is the best swordsman". At the same time though Jamie never thought he was going to win either, he wanted to spend as much time on the bridge. He was so weakened from time spent in custody, but having no armor puts him at huge a deficit as well.

It is very much in his own interest that Brienne gets him to King's Landing, i mean then he will be freed. If any of the northmen find them, which they now have, they will surely try to hang him or bring him back to Robb. Him trying to "get them caught" makes no sense, he also indicates this as he wants Brienne to kill the peasant in the start of the episode and then in the end he gives her a "i told you so" look when said peasant is the one who ran to get the soldiers.

He's messing with her more than anything else. IMO, there's nothing to read of what Jaimie wants from his interactions with Brienne so far in S03. But I think Jaimie really thought he could win this and that's the point. He even acts kinda cocky at a point in the duel when he sees her getting shaky for a few seconds. Considering the Lannister's pride, I don't think Jaimie nor Tywinn would find it very glorious to have Brienne delivering him at King's Landing (even if the trade is done in secret).

Pretty sure he would have ganked her if he had the chance. He would have traveled home much quicker solo and if he gets south enough he can just bribe someone for supplies/food/horse leveraging the reputation that a Lannister always pays his debt.

I discovered GoT when season 1 was over and it was a month or so to go before season 2 started. That was the best 10 hours in my life for a long time and I doubt any marathon will ever fly by so easy as my GoT season 1 experience that night. It just felt like a 10 hour movie that you didn't want to end. I wish I was able to save up the 10 episodes per season and do more marathons but knowing that the episodes are available and not being able to discuss the show with other people makes it impossible to stay away from watching week to week. ![]()

That could definitely be one reason, but I also think he's kind of toying with her and her emotions, as well as testing her and seeing how she reacts. Also, I don't really see why he wouldn't take the chance to test her skills in a swordfight when he could - he knows she can't hurt him or the deal would be off so why not take the chance and test her skills and techniques for when he gets a better chance?
