Would be the shittiest trade ever if Brienne actually got Jaime to King's landing, and you know Tywin wasn't going to uphold the deal. He would just say "thanks for my son back, now you die". tywin may have acted in this way, but remember their common saying "a lannister always pays his debts" they seem to hold pretty true to this, so im not sure tywin would just up and kill someone who brought his beloved son back

Its not like their diet favors getting skinny, they eat a lot of lard and bacon in the watch, and Sam mostly just walked to get somewhere

Sophie Turner really sold that scene. Very real fear/nerves but also the relief of being able to talk truthfully about Joff and her father.

I don't think her mistake in A Game of Thrones was telling the truth but trusting Cersei. It's doubtful that Joffrey would go to such lengths just to find out if Sansa is loyal; he could just assrape and kill her for no reason. She is a valuable hostage, but so would Ned have been, so reason doesn't really come into play here.

Hello thread. I have just finished catching up on the eipsodes and the hype is justified. Amazing series. What you said about Margery is really interesting to me, too. She is certainly something special. Gay husband?" No problem, just fuck your gay friend and impregnate me when you are about to get off." Husband dies? "Let's make the best out of it." Violent, sadistic husband? "Can I watch you kill things? Would you like to see me killing things?" She always makes the best out of every situation like an opportunist but at the same time she is pure at heart. She helps the orphans, is always friendly, looks great, gets along with everyone, puts others over self but at the same time is self confident and knows how to stick up for herself. Margery is either a REALLY good "Mary Sue"esque type of woman or she has a REALLY dark secret. Given what I have seen so far on Game of Thrones I wouldn't be surprised if it was the dark secret. There have not been many unrealistically positive characters in GoT so far, they all have shown weaknesses or character flaws, Margery is the only one so far who is "perfect" and either that is fearsome or I overinterpretate things.

I think the scene with cait talking about how she couldn't love john snow was the best, the emotion portrayed in that scene was so powerful.

You saw towards the end of the episode she was trying to gain Joffrey's favoritism by hinting that she wanted to be just as brutal and vicious as he was. That's probably why she wanted to talk with Sansa, so she could understand Joffrey's character and adapt to him. Which is kind of scary.. shes adapting to get in a position of power, but what will be her true characteristic once she is in power? Will it be crazy like cersei, or will it be soft and nice. Hopefully her orphanage visits isnt just to buy the love of the people (although that is a pretty smart way to do it) and that she is actually sincere. If this wasn't GoT, i might think that shes genuinely nice, but since its GoT, shes going to be crazy one way or the other, even cersei is giving this girl dirty looks/subtle insult, and it takes a crazy bitch to know one.

Small note about the conversation with Sansa. In order to gain her trust she does two things: 1. She gossips about her own familly (her late husband and Lord Tyrell her son). 2. She admits to treason by siding with Renly. But that's the thing. As argument she states that Renly was second in line after Stannis . Se doesn't mention Jeoffrey at all. This incriminates her because basically she says she shares the view of Ned Stark regarding the succession to the throne. This also implies that she knows Jeoffrey is a product of incest and might suspect that he is mad like the some of the Targaryens who were known for incest.
