If I would be any of the major houses from Westeros I would start negoating with Daenarys any alliances incase of another Targaryan conquest campaign.Secretly of course. Why? Dragons have been dead for ages so that's probably a rumor and god knows I can't imagine too many major houses care for the goings on over yonder. All three armies over in Westeros are still enough to destroy a small 8000 man force, however good they are. Plus this is their home. They'll have advantages in the terrain and logistics routes. Dany really isn't a concern.
Well dragons do grow fast and most certainly most house have spies all over the Free cities. Still it would be pretty good idea to forge alliances early on. I don't think Aegon the Conqueror had that many troops when conquest started. But who knows what happens.

Personally i thought the blood on the head of whoever the leader was (sorry forgot his name!) was a sign that they had fought the walkers atleast in some manner. Yeah they fought, lost and Sam finds the few survivors who are retreating to the wall.
Don't really like how they executed the scene, a few more bodies/zombies and some more talk besides the ravens stuff was needed to make it less confusing.

Who's the dead guy that Sam saw in the very beginning?

While I do agree the episode wasn't the best I'm kind of looking at it like a sort of recap/introduction to S3 like a S3E0

Has anyone else spent the last two days humming the intro song? I can't get it out of my head!

For all the talk of what will happen if/when the TV show catches up to the books, I'm excited for a different narrative ploy. Hopefully, the show will take books 4 and 5 and use the two or three seasons to tell the story chronologically. There's no reason not to, as pulling off a similar feat as what the books did is not only unneeded but potentially much worse because of the TV medium. So it should be neat and somewhat refreshing to see how the story progresses on the show as opposed to the books.

I've learned it on the guitar last year and have been playing it like 100 times the past 48 hours.

I could have sworn it actually looked worse in season 2 when we first saw it. Not complaining though.

Yeah I was a little confused about this, but then I decided they just wanted to be cool like the Borg.

I guess his nose healed up a bit or so the dialogue indicates.

Am I the only one that thinks that Loras+ Margaery beats the shit out of Jamie+Cersei in the brother/sister hotness competition?
Loras new haircut+ the shave.. damn....
|
^ Oh hell yea, Margaery is hot as hell, I'd totally pick her over Cersei. And I'd rather go gay for Loras than Jaime. lol

Loras new haircut+ the shave.. damn.... Lol I am not really rating the guys. I just noticed Loras looked somewhat less girly this time.
Cersei and Margaery are both hot in their own way, no really comparable. Only one I cant stand is Dany. :D

Loras new haircut+ the shave.. damn.... what? Jamie beats everyone. His sister's alright.

Cersei beats Margaery in my opinion. The latter is a butterface. But she (Margaery) does have by far the best personality and mind.
Here's some fun: Tyrion, Joffrey, Bronn. Fuck one marry one kill one
