If i understood correctly their leader, Rydar used to be a Night Watchmen, though i might have misunderstood that. And the thugs that attacked Bran, two of them wore black. If so, not so surprising.

Since the picture dictated the size of the OP, the first reply was on the first screen on enter. Blargh. Yeah thats pretty much exactly what happened, and I just missclicked the thread ><

Just watched episode 7... and want to say "I KNEW IT" about Joffry (or however u spell it) not being Robert's son. They make such a huge deal about the lannister blonde hair, and both of Robert's bastards had black hair and it was mentioned that they both had "black hair like their father." So the last couple episodes I was thinking "the hand was checking all of his bastards because he wanted to see if they ALL had black hair (which they do)." Good to know I was following the story in the right direction. <3 when stories reveal what is going to happen, but so subtly that not everyone realizes it, but once they think about it will "oo ya thats right i guess now thati think about it". Anyways am just happy to be understanding the story and predicting it correctly, am def going to have to read these books as this universe is pretty cool... Although i didnt see the part where they kill the male targareyan coming.. didnt think that would happen at least not the way it did. I am super interested to see what comes of the blonde girl and her being a "dragon" and true targareyan resistant to fire and all. Will be interesting for sure. Didnt want to watch episode 7 online as i would rather space out my favorite show than watch 2 hours and having nothing to look forward to next weekend lol.

I guess that is just to not complicate things too much, though them being separated from the rest of the realm for so long would have warranted them developing a different language. There are more languages in the books than in the show, though. In Old Valyria, they spoke Valyrian, which is also a language Daenerys and Viserys speak among themselves sometimes (their dynasty comes from Valyria). In addition, in the free cities (such as Pentos), they speak a modern/degenerate version of Valyrian, but in the show they just speak the common tongue of Westeros. Don't get me wrong, I don't complain, I am still impressed that they developed Dothraki to the extent they did.

OH MY GOD the end of 7 was out-fucking-rageous. I totally thought Robert's signature was going to be fine and everything was going to go down without a hitch. What an unexpected turn....

I heard in some regions the later books were released in multiple volumes. Confirm/deny?
