But it feels like some lesser roles are a little bit...off. Hodor for example kinda rubbed me the wrong way, and the warden in the sky cells was just...came across as bad acting somehow, I don't know.

(please no book spoilers..) what happent with the mountain and jamie, they had sent 100 men after them.. Episode 7 + Show Spoiler + We don't see him fighting but i think that is mostly an editing choice. The one thing that defines Ser Barristan is the loyalty to his task and his unwavering honour. He likes Ned, no doubt about that, but he is also just like Ned in that he lets honour dictator his ways. He will be defending Joffrey no doubt about that. No matter how he feels about the other side, he knows he swore an oath to protect the king and he will do just that. As for the future of baristan, it will be revealed in the upcoming episodes. It's not a plothread that goes unadressed.

Aryas swordfighting looked really impressive already. I love her more and more with each scene. Bronn is the most badass sellsword ever. The crowning of Viserys was pretty damn brutal. I winced even though I knew exactly what was coming.

I agree that it was the best episode. Everything is starting to unfold! Ironically, it had the least nudity ![]()

Even though i knew about viserys fate, its sad to see that good of an actor leave :// Not sure right now that i like the positive picture they paint of theon. Tyrion was great as usual. But well. i'll probably never understand why HBO send jason momoa (khal drogo) as one of the candidates for the emmys (and not the actress playing arya *MADASFUCK*) Was kinda sad when i saw that episode 7 wasn up by noon, but luckily i found myself a dl by now. *unbelievably-happy*

EPISODE 7 SPOILER + Show Spoiler + The Kingsguard does not get involved in silliness like that (in theory); their role is to protect the king, and (1) Joffrey was never in any danger (quite the opposite), (2) the identity of the "king" is rather unclear at this point, with Ned calling him out and whatnot. That counts as a book spoiler, are you daft or something? Oh, and congrats on your piracy; you like the show well enough it seems; unfortunate that you lack the respect to watch it legally and contribute to its ratings.

In the book, up to this point of the story, he does not come along as that nice. Nothing more, nothing less. Congrats on being american (at least in this case), but as you might know HBO does not broadcast to europe (at least not the western) part. So please, start thinking before ranting.

How are you supposed to contribute to the ratings if the country you're in doesn't get HBO? Plus, HBO has said time and again that they don't really base many of their decisions on ratings.
