Even though i knew about viserys fate, its sad to see that good of an actor leave ://
ya I havent read the books but Viserys seemed like an awesome cast. I think he played the role perfectly.
Anyway episode 6 was great, I have no idea where this show is going in the future, so many things can happen and Im sure any of them will be amazing.
Really love how the action is starting to pick up now after the great character buillding the first few episodes.
Im wondering though how far is the show through the first book? If anyone has an answer please put it under a spoiler tag. Thx.

Actually, each episode has covered more or less 70 pages of the book (with some scenes moved about a little), the entire book being about 700 pages (talking US hardcover edition). As said, no need to spoiler tag that. It is common knowledge that the first season (10 episodes) will cover the first book.

Just watched episode 7 and totally regretted it. Now I have to wait a painful 2 weeks.
Why HBO, WHY U TORTURE ME.

+ Show Spoiler [episode 7] +Another great episode! Tywin Lannister was exactly how I imagined him, and I liked how he was skinning a stag during their conversation. I like how they've made Sam into less of a dumb coward and more of a joker. I never liked his chapters because of the constant wallowing in self-pity. Khal Drogo was epic, I would not want to fight that guy. Although there were glimpses there that reminded me of a wrestler cutting a promo, which was a bit distracting. Still, good scene. Joffrey is a delightful little shit. Can't wait to see more of him. I'd imagine the 2 weeks would be extremely painful if I hadn't read the books.

I'm not sure if it was the case for him, but the gigantic thread spoiler picture didn't load properly in time for me to glimpse the first post. Since the picture dictated the size of the OP, the first reply was on the first screen on enter.
Blargh.

and what a first reply it had to be too, like fuck rofl
kind of a terrible post though, like he knew some people would stumble into it and just wanted to troll all the people complaining about spoilers in the other thread =/

About episode 7 : + Show Spoiler + I kind of think that episode 7 was littlefinger's episode. The added scenes were provided to give at least a little insight into why he behaves in the manner he does - and it's shocking and a little disturbing to see his endgame. "Everything" is what he says he wants, and he is clearly bitter and angry at the society that has raised him and belittled him, seeing Ned Stark as the embodiment of the honorable people.

So basically Geoffry is not Robert's son, most likely Jaime's. Maybe someone from the Targaryen line is the father, it could make for quite the shitstorm, though it's less likely to be the case.
Also, Danaerys' hands not burning, is it something to do with her lineage or some sort of destiny to be a master of dragons or something like that? I say destiny since her brother died from burns and he is also a Targaryen.
I still don't get the significance of the three eyed owl. It flew down a corridor, big deal. I'm guessing he'll keep having these dreams and they'll progress further and further until we are finally told what its all about.
Finally, why is Lysa Arryn such a crazy bitch?
P.S. Is episode 7 in a good quality format?--I don't like watching pixelated videos. All in due time, my friend, all in due time :D

Love the show, don't know how much longer I can take all of my favorite characters getting dicked around though.
