i just have no idea what littlefinger is doing. the guy who got olenas grandchildren in jail is his employee. so little finger and cercei use religion to get rid of highgarden and then littlefinger uses it to depose the king/cercei?
Stannis has to win against the Boltons. How can we otherwise see the clash between the two religious wackos - Red woman and the old dude. Also, my bet is that Reek will kill Ramsey. I think that the Lannister cause is lost, because they are basically out of allies and broke. Littlefinger will turn against then in the first possible moment. And knowing his ability to persuade people, he will turn the entire army agaist them, too.
It's funny that the slave master that caught Mormont and Tyrion is dead, but doesn't know it yet
Didn't even think of that. A confrontation between Mellisandra and the High Sparrow. It would be horribly one sided tho :p

I think you totally misinterpreted Littlefinger's comment to Lancel.
Littlefinger's fantasies are only entertaining, Lancel's fantasies are real (laying with Cersei)...and brought him to repent and join the fanatics. Hence Littlefinger's smile, and Lancel's uncomfortable twitch.

We both peddle in fantasies, mine just happen to be entertaining
Imo he is clearing talking about the fantasy of god/religion

Took it is him referring to the religion. LF says they both "deal in fantasies", LF with the brothels and sparrows with their religion. This makes more sense in the context of the conversation because he said this in response to Lancel bragging about cracking down on shit in the city and closing down brothels, to which LF is like look dude, we both peddle fantasy to people, and cracking a joke that the sexual fantasies that a brothel deals in are much more entertaining.

At that point Joffrey doesn't even know he is a child of incest or who injured Bran. Makes no sense for him to want to kill him. Only Cersei and Jamey had reason.
considering i just watched the whole series up to this point and how Tyrion dialogue goes with Cersei and the fact Tyrion is actually pretty clever. It has to be Joffery. Why? Not only is he that stupid he's been feuding with Tyrion nonstop and the boy simply doesn't know how to play politics. He is that dumb when you look at every action he's made and he is far more troubled than that of Cersei. I gave the order considering his hand, Tyrion was telling him what to do. Joffery would have none of it.
rape scene triggered too many people. Apart from the sandsnakes it was the average episode but obviously kind of a transitional episode before the big events happen now. Can't believe the season is almost over again...
What people are most pissed about is the fact that they use the rape of Sansa as a pure shock factor. They state that it goes completely against Sansa's character development in season 4.
And I don't think I need to tell you that basically everything was awful in the Dorne storyline. The ridiculous "plan" to capture Myrcella right in the center of the town in the middle of the day out of the arms of her boyfriend. The coincidence that the Sandsnakes have the same stupid plan at the exact same time. The hilariously bad fighting choreography, the lame costuming, the annoying-to-no-end acting of the Sandsnakes, the list goes on. The only positive aspect of Dorne is that Myrcella aka Aimee Richardson is a real hottie.
I read most of the reviews there in the last hour.
Well, to summarize, some people will enjoy GoT, and others will not. Recently, we've been getting more people into Game of Thrones, who would not.
Many people there oppose the "rape scene", and that automatically drops their review really low, and they don't like how they are looking at Theon, and not Sansa during it, since like wtf... Like Reek is the one supposed to be in pain? Not Sansa?
I think that's a bullshit argument, but it's been discussed to death here. Anyway, I wouldn't consider what happened to Sansa raped in the traditional sense, it's not glorifying anything, and I do think it's an important scene, to illustrate how the characters stand in this relationship.
Anyway, I guess I'm just unhappy with some of the people not understanding Game of Thrones. Yes, one purpose is to tell a story, but the other, especially in the books, is to build a Westeros world... That's why rape, killing, and violence outside the story is perfectly okay. It's showing the world, even if it's mindless violence.
I dunno, I wish people would just sit down, and just enjoy the experience. I think almost everything this season has been very well done, and this thread has been pretty happy with everything, but the book thread... Literally 99% of posts are people complaining that x isn't exactly how it's in the books blah blah. This season has been done very very well imo.
Anyway, I think this season, the only real complaints is that Dorne has been quite lackluster, and I believe it's all one director doing those, and pretty sure he will never direct GoT after this. As well as the spoiler in one of the previews where Barristan dies, that's a pretty big mistake.

Unless I am mistaken, they are airing an episode despite it being Memorial Day. Wikipedia says so, too.
