Littlefinger+Sansa+Hound+Arya @ The Eyrie new emergent power? I could imagine all sorts of interesting things happening through that.
Littlefinger is a schemer
it would be out of character to hire the Hound as muscle
it would also make him more exposed hiring the Hound, who has a bounty the Lannisters placed on his head

Was thinking about that. I still kinda expect Jaime to do something strong, we also have lord Varys, who never forgets anything. Tyrion had only few people as his ally in Kings landing, Jaime, those guy who served to Tyrion and left with Brienne, Brann who switched his side (I don't think he had any chances vs Mountain anyhow), Oberyn, Sansa and probably lord Varys who never made anything bad to Tyrion, and seems like never thought to stand agains him.

The comic is awesome, if they make one from all the books i would read 100% sure but from the comic it looks like they both die, so semi-spoiler-ish.
Now if Arya can just go to Jaquen, and come back in like 3 seasons as an awesome assassin(leave the show so she doesent get killed by the beetlesmasher, yeah im looking at you Martin)
And please dont let Littlefinger corrupt Sansa anymore.
Some people say next episode is 2 hours, is this true? I dont watch the previews, terrified of spoilers
Yeah if anyone was going to just accept something like that it would be Dorne.
Pretty sure Sansa is gone. Between Joffrey, the beheading of her father, and nearly being raped, etc, she has lost all innocence except the last piece Littlefinger plans on puncturing with his 'little finger'
As for Arya F yeah! She could really use the skill of changing faces, as she will probably never be able to walk around anywhere without fearing for her life. She will probably grow up to be hot (especially with whatever face she wants) add that to a lifelong dedication to learning the art of killing and she will basically be the perfect assassin (Jaquen seems like one of the best to learn from [kind of curious how/why he was originally captured though?]).
Also I finally found a comprehensive map that helps me conceptualize so much. Unfortunately it apparently has spoilers (I'm too dense to notice them or their significance at first glance).
Has someone found a comprehensive map without spoilers? If not maybe I could get someone from the book thread to 'despoiler' it for us?
Thanks guys. Yeah the one I am looking at is a lot more detailed and shows lots of places the show has been but aren't really clear on the HBO map. (Kraster's keep, Yunkai, etc...) I could PM people the link if they are interested in seeing what I am talking about. It may contain vague spoilers though.

Since the last episode I've been thinking hard on who / what might save him at all honestly. Who would gain from him living?
I see only a few possibilities really:
1) He somehow escapes from prison before the execution is held by hand of someone helping him ( e.g. Jaime ) * Would his pride allow this since he demanded a trial by combat? * He always said he likes living, so maybe he'd take that chance anyway?
2) Someone intervenes just after the trial and before the sentence is carried out * Tommen abdicated from the trial, so he wouldn't do that? * Would possibly Littlefinger or the Tyrells have something to gain from him surviving? * The only one that we have seen that has the strength of interrupting the normal order ( e.g. the execution ) in King's Landing is Stannis. Is his army already ready? This would be a mercenary army however, so they'd be ready to fight pretty quickly I'd guess though? No one yet knows he's preparing for another attack?
3) Somehow this ends in a tie and some other rule is in place to prevent a "guilty" verdict * Has been speculated by a few people already in this thread - is definitely an interesting idea * I wouldn't know though since I don't know the entire ruleset, but maybe there is a chance for that?
4) He doesn't escape at all and dies * Please don't die...for the sake of my heart lol
From the last couple of days those are - in my mind - the only possibilities I see right now. Maybe I missed something completely obvious that points out exactly if any of this is true or if something entirely different is about to happen. If so, well, I probably should pay more attention to intricate details and subtleties :D

That is actually pretty interesting and doesn't seem that far fetched.
I mean, how ironic would it be really? Tyrion was responsible for Stannis' defeat, and then it is Stannis' arrival that saves him, hehe.

That would be something! o_0 I guess it's a lie though, don't see why they would make a 2 hour episode, instead of just adding an extra one.
I don't think the match will end in a tie somehow, neither will it be a deal. I mean, the sentence was already spoken by tywin, wasn't it? Just lets hope he gets away somehow.
bastard T.T so many people (Beetles) have died for your enjoyment!
Regarding the mountain being a a contender for strongest man, I found a youtube clip of him competing. It's him lifting...some... moderate... amounts of weights
