People should have realized by now that there is no clear protagonist or antagonist in this show, That's what makes the show different from the usual shows. Think of it as GRMM/HBO is just narrating a series of events than happened in a fictional world. It all depend's on the viewers on who are the characters they like, which side they choose.

I'm OK with Oberyn dying, but the way the particular scene was presented was too much toying with the audience.

Kinda gives your confession a special taste when you do it while crushing another person's head.

Sure its one of the best TV shows, but jeez guys. On another note, ever since Sansa arrived with Little Finger, I could see them entering into some sort of partnership. I never liked Sansa before, but i guess all the crying and whining and depression was leading to something. This is now my favourite storyline in the show. I hope they rip the Lannisters to shreds at some point.

Anyway. i think if what happened was Moutain admitting its Tywin's orders, I think he would kill the Mountain then go full Leonidas at Tywin throwing his lance even it will cost his life.

First of all, I don't think Oberyn dying was cheesy at all. Think about what he's been going through since the death of his sister, who he clears loves beyond what words can describe. He named one of his daughters Elia, after his sister. He has been thinking about this ONE thing, her sister's death at the hands of what he believes to be the Mountain acting on Tywin's orders for the past how many years? This whole time, he has been angry, sad, and frustrated. Now FINALLY, after so many years, he has the chance to not only come to King's Landing and confront Tywin in front of other lords and ladies, but have a chance at REVENGE. He's not here just to kill the Mountain, he wants the Mountain to be shamed, to feel in a few moments what he has been feeling for years. I'm sure Oberyn would have wanted the Mountain to rip out his own heart and eat it, then some. His nickname is the Red Viper. So with all this on his mind, he finally has the duel he wants with the Mountain. Unfortunately, with all this going on, the action, the emotions, the crowd, him winning..., the warrior forgets himself for a moment, and is brought down by arguably the most dangerous 1v1 killer in Westeros. I think it's an incredible moment, it's tragic, but why does this make you guys angry??? I get the complaint that this show seems to only kill "good" characters or "likable" characters, but that's because this show is based on many books, and these books are not just about certain characters. The story GRRM wants to tell is of epic proportions and can not be separated into small, discrete packages. In addition, there is no "good" and "bad," characters are humans with wants and needs, and must deal with the situations they are in. I also get that certain characters seem more interesting or are easier to like, but what happens to them are due to their circumstances and the decisions they make and pure dumb luck. There are probably a lot of different possible outcomes given a certain situation with certain characters, but in the dangerous and chaotic environment that is GoT, death is OFTEN a likely outcome. Finally, if you are pissed about interesting characters dying because other story arcs are boring, I would suggest reading the book. At the end of the day, the producers/writers have to compact so much shit into one episode that it's impossible for them to give you the details that would make an arc "interesting." They have to do their best to move this story along as well as show enough of all characters so that the average viewer will not forget stuff. Like I said, it is a tale of epic proportions and it's tough to do it justice 50 minutes at a time, 10 times a year.
