Seems like quite a stretch, after all this time, everyone seems to be starting to look in dexters direction. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of reasons why people should, the writers just always use pretty garbage ones.
Dex's brother being his brother, Quinn catching on to the fact that Dex is a complete sociopath + the sketch that looks pretty damned like him, Laguerta knowing for a fact Doakes wasn't the BHB due to their prior relationship and Doakes dying in the place that Dexters mom killer lived at the time?
All tie in pretty well. It's the fact that everyone else hasn't figured it out that's shocking to me. There are more than enough clues once you are on the right path, and the writers have been excellent at writing them in imo.
Keep in mind that Harry knew about Dex all along. It's not a stretch at all that he told the doctor before he killed himself, considering her age and her current career path it would make a lot of sense that she knows who he is. It's not hard to piece the facts together.

Haha if the Nerd Guy knew about Dexter I think he would have been shitting in his pants. He may have been ballsey, but I don't think he was THAT ballsey if he knew Dexter would actually kill him.

Man, when he found the search warrants I was thinking to myself BATISTA NOOOOOOOOOO and then he tore them up thank god.
I still think he'll be on to Dexter eventually though, no way to avoid it. Unlike Laguerta, I actually love Batista. The guy doesn't deserve the shit he gets.

I actually thought it was really weird and out of character for Dexter. I can't remember ever seeing him truly angry before. Usually when things go wrong in his life, his urge to kill rises, but he never gets genuinely pissed.

Hey even though I've seen the show since season 1 I can't recall the drawings the Psychiatrist lady handed him in the end. Did Harrison draw them or did Dexter draw them when he was a kid? It's the latter correct? Meaning she's Harry's friend.

Pretty sure actions like Dex getting all violent (choking black person), yelling at Harrison etc. is probably obvious hints as to what's going to happen to him throughout this season. He'll likely start losing it and we'll see how the show tries to resolve the inner psychopath in him. Looking good for a final season.

I think Dexter drew them when he was young. I kinda assumed this because in one of the drawings 'Dexter' was scrawled over it. I figure children usually 'initial' their drawings as such

Okay cool thank you, I thought so. I was just confused on whether the show was making a reference to a past episode that I forgot about.

When you look at real life famous serial killers like Ted Bundy, they devolve in their killings over time. They become sloppy in their methods, which eventually leads to their capture. This is what I think Dexter has been leading up to. His road rage is proof that he's devolving, and the fact that he relies less on Harry's code is a sign that things will end badly.

Jesus, Dexter is almost as good at keeping secrets as Bruce Wayne.

Usually when things go wrong in his life, his urge to kill rises, but he never gets genuinely pissed. He beat a redneck to death in a bathroom once. He's snapped at Quinn and a few other people violently on a number of occassions, though usually its in the midst of one of his 'oh god I have to kill this guy and hide another body and help debb all in ten minutes or im FUCKED!" phases, whereas this was just...random. Six months of being without Debb though might be breaking his 'routine' or whatever, that helps keep him on harrys path.

Deb was his anchor to a normal life and that is now gone so yeah he's probably gonna lose it.

I kind of got the vibe that Harry was probably friends with this chicks while raising Dexter. He probably went to her for guidance (Perhaps he asked for indirect advice, but she picked up on it anyway). Perhaps she owes it to Harry to keep it a secret... Just my Speculation.

Jennifer Carpenter needs more credit for her acting in this series

She did have the killer vibe to me too, though maybe it was just that from the first second she was on screen they portrayed her as a huge enemy of Dexter and it made me not like her.

Yeh, it's what they say now. But seriously, this show never earns any of the awful plot lines they go for.
So suddenly Dexter goes complete bonkers because of Deb - okay. And this seasons flavor is "I'm so mad I'm gonna rage all the time!"
Pretty out of character but that never stopped the writers. I mean Debs sudden "yeh I actually love Dexter and wanna have sex with him!" had zero legitimate origins in the show. Just suddenly you realized how they wanted to strive for that over the course of 4-5 episodes. There was nothing in season 1-5 that even so much hinted at Deb having that kind of feelings for Dex, but hey the writers don't care!
This kind of opening is also incredible lazy. Good old "6 months later" removes all the stuff that would have to be dealt with.

My overall thoughts are on her... She herself is a psychopath and a serial killer, which is why she is so good at identifying/studying other psychopath's/socio path's. Her being that good led Harry to talk to her about Dexter and might be revealed that she is the originator of Harry's code and she is responsible for Harry teaching Dexter to control his condition by only killing 'bad guys'
End of the show will be her studying Dexter and finding out how far from the code he has strayed and then she will kill him or turn him in because of it.
Just my general thoughts on what's going on this season.
