Again, a spoiler takes 10 seconds worth of effort. I'm not arguing WHY they are here but it's just a common courtesy to spoiler big plotlines from the latest episodes. There's plenty people who haven't seen the finale here yet and even if it's 'their fault' you can still take 10 seconds extra and spoiler your posts. Hell, MAKING this post complaining about it took you more time than it would to just spoiler stuff.

I think that is the part he wanted explained lol. Regardless, the actual finale was lackluster until the end. This season was much better than S5 but there is a lot to improve upon. Now that they have an actual plot point to follow (Deb learning about Dex), maybe we can get a top-notch season.

Exactly, and almost every show has some lack of realism (I think it's called suspension of disbelief or something). You can nitpick shit like this for almost every show, like Breaking Bad for example.

+ Show Spoiler +i really liked this season i felt it had a lot of build up and really payed off and was great overall. I do feel the Deb realization of her love of dex is revolting tho. Being adopted myself with a sibling i find it completely disgusting and a stretch of writing or complete misunderstanding of how one feels in that family dynamic. I almost find it offensive or disturbing in a way, "well their not blood related so thats like cool right?" my head just explodes of wtf i cant put into words.
Besides that everything else was perfect for me, i small part of me wish she didnt find out. Then i just think about well they have to do something interesting and what esle is there?

So, the season is finally over and Im not impressed at all. It felt like the side plots were cheap and never really important, Dexter didnt go and killed his usual share of bad people on the side, plus the new characters remained undeveloped and uninteresting (Including Travis, without Gellar he just wasnt up to par with Dexters usual counterparts)
They wrote so much stuff in there which is only important for next season so it feels like this season hasnt had a nice wrap up.
The hand in the box, Debs new (retarded) feelings, the intern, Batistas beef with quin and so much more just waiting to be picked up next season, which I hope will be alot better than this stupid waste of my time :[ ( just kidding, but only kind of )

+ Show Spoiler +I agree with this, especially the gellar-less travis being a bad villain. I think the s5 'villains' weren't really amazing either. On the other hand, with so many undeveloped sideplots going into s7 it's bound to have a bit more substance than s6 plotwise
Regardless, I don't think s6 was bad. It wasn't amazing like s1/4, but it wasn't horrible like s2/3 either.
edit: Come to think of it, the best seasons were pretty much defined by the amazing villains. A bit like the dark knight I guess. I hope they find a villain with character for s7, especially for atheists (like most of TL) it's hard to understand a religious villain like this season's.

it gets less gorey while you're also desensitized to it as the series goes on. Season 1 was pretty raw.
