That was a huge ending, going to need to take some time to process that one. + Show Spoiler + It's been confirmed for 2 more seasons though, so it's clear that she wont turn him in, partners in crime? Will he try to let her in or will she want nothing to do with it? Will she understand and let him kill or will she try to turn him to be "normal"? Or... Will the unspeakable happen? I watched dex since season 1. This episode takes the cake in drama. Often dexter makes me react really intensly because how deep the character is developed and intense the plot line. But jesus fucking omfg godamn. That was intense to a new level. Just unbelievable how that episode went down. I was a fan for life. But it's official. My children are going to be named Dexter Morgan and if it's a girl, Dark Passenger. | ||

i started at the screen with my mouth open for basically the full credits. + Show Spoiler + i mean after i read theres going to be at most 2 more seasons i kind of expected them to do something like this but the way it worked out... | ||

The entire season was incredibly predictable, and it felt like it was just trying way too hard to shove the religion theme down our throats; it could've worked nicely as a theme, but it was just executed so poorly. But what about Deb finally finding out Dexter's secret? Oh sure that would've been cool...except this same situation is what happened at the end of the last season, with the difference being that they pussed out last time with Deb not pulling the curtain back. Not to mention you kind of see it coming the whole season with Deb's growing interest in Dexter. About the only thing that was mildly interesting this season was the intern guy and the possibility of Dexter giving in to his dark passenger completely. Well the first is apparently being conserved for the storyline of the next season and the latter they copped out on midway through. Oh well, at least I'll always have the first 4 seasons ; ; | ||
