I'd love to see the following endings:
1. Angel's sister dies 2. Quinn gets killed off and replaced by new guy 3. Deb finds out about Dexter's secret 4. Deb dies 5. Dexter kills Travis in front of Harrison 5b. Lab intern kills Travis after Travis kills Harrison 6. Lab intern develops into main plot in s7
It'd be pretty cool if everything on this list happens (with either 5 or 5b) in this order.
Alternatively: 1-4: same as above, 5. Dexter dies 6. Lab intern saves Harrison and kills Travis 7. Lab intern becomes new Dexter in s7

Since they confirmed the plot to the next two seasons would be revealed in the last two episodes(Did they not in a podcast?) Then its safe to say we can expect Dexter vs This guy scenario. Perhaps one Season where he tries to change/join Dexter, realizes he cannot and tries to frame him with the final season culminating in killing him, then again the antagonist has never survived a Season. I'm not looking forward to LaGuerta vs Morgan antics, was quite obvious what was going to happen with that storyline. Would be nice if Morgan found some dirt on LaGuerta and threatened her. The Dexter and Morgan thing doesn't seem to immediately be going anywhere..... unless eventually Morgan and the Shrink connect the fact that she is only attracted to evil people, and Morgan starts becoming suspicious of Dexter.
Seems to me that the intern is going to play a game with dexter, like his videogame. He is gooing to go serial killer while he can watch dexter track him from the inside

i thought season 3 was real good. I would suggest people to rewatch it, it mightve just come as a disappointment after watching seasons 1 and 2, but now your opinion mightve changed^^. As well as i thought it was quiet the logical progression of Dexter dealing with 'human' emotions giving him the desire to have a friend and all that yada yada. I also hope that the intern does not develop into a main plot in the next season. Such a weak character and offensive to all nerds out there^^ And Debra wanting to bang Dexter is the only solid plotline so far in my opinion. Because of all the reasons the other posters have already stated here, it would just tie in very well with the rest of the show.

her name is DEBRA, not Morgan, its Debra Morgan, people might even think youre refering to Dexter Morgan when writing it all the time

What about Lundy? He wasn't "evil"
It has been a recurring trend in the people she is interested in. Don't reply with a single obvious statement without offering a counter hypothetical. Where else is the Morgan / Shrink plot going then?

I definitely hope everything there happens except Deb dying.

i hope 2. , and 6. are true. i hope 3 and 5 is not true id be pretty pissed if 4.or 5b would happen.

I'd cream my pants if 4 happened. I'm seriously surprised she's still on the show. Terrible actor, terrible character, and 90% of her scenes are cringeworthy. A man can dream..
|
I think we can expect Dexter to kill Travis in front of Harrison.
Not seeing any other way. If the intern somehow enters the fray, that will be a shit ending imo.
|
Things I hope:
La Guerta is the last victim of Travis'. Dexter kills Travis. Deb Seduces Dexter.
Also, a 90 minute episode would be nice.

If Harrison watches someone die and this somehow turns him into a serial killer, I'm quitting the show.

Dexter: The Harrison Chronicles.......well it would still be better than 90% of the stuff thats on tv.

Maybe he doesn't , and Dexter realizes each person is different in terms of psychology. Questioning himself whether is nature or nurture to developing into a serial killer. :o

Brother Sam watched his dad kill someone, turned into a criminal, then reformed. There's some parallel there.

It might just be me but, It felt like that the further the season went on, the more one-dimensional characters became. Even the show itself seems more one-dimensional and predictable. I hope next season doesn't continue this trend.

I was disappointed with the last episode I found so much of it predictable... unlike this show.

Dexter is becoming the best series I ever watched. Season 6 and it is still going strong.
Last episode was almost a Sylvester Stallone movie though. Too many coincidences, going just right in the last second. 1) Batista 2) Debra Morgan 3) Dexter Morgan

Where else is the Morgan / Shrink plot going then? Why get so aggressive? He has a valid point. Quinn isn't evil as well, at least not when he was with Debra. Or define "evil". It seems that he was pretty good for her. Debra was kinda the bitch breaking it up, but the Quinn story this season is really sloppy and one dimensional. Break up in the start, same shit for 10 episodes.
Not saying it can't possible happen. But it is a long stretch.
