Is no one discussing the intern? It sounds like in the last episode that he collects trinkets and such from serial killers. The reason he thinks of Dexter as a rock star probably also has to do with the fact that Dexter hasn't gotten caught while working at a police station.
And then he said something approximately as "I spent my whole life on the sidelines with make-believe games. I want to get out there and make my life count for something." So he isn't a serial killer, but now he's been inspired to become one?
I don't know why people are bitching about the incest thing. That dream sequence was hilarious.
Also, did DDK pour gas like right around the boat and then light it on fire? How did the boat not catch fire?

Didn't he watch his mother die to the Trinity killer? Or am I remembering incorrectly.
Yep!
This person obviously has not been following the show very much. Quite a focus of the last season, and parts of this one, is how Dex can be a good father without his son turning in to what he is.

They claim he's too young to understand what happened back then, now it he's at a similar age as Dexter when Dexter's mother was killed, so it would be completely different.
Haha I felt like the writers did the whole incest plotline between Deb and Dexter just to fuck with the actors I was laughing really hard in some of those scenes knowing they were married and broke up.
I also think it's gonna come down to Dexter killing Travis in front of his son or turning him in to the cops. If Batista's sister gets killed while trying to protect harrison, it would be a great buildup for the next season: Dexter/Angel killing DDK inside the prison.
I belive that Dexter will end up not killing Travis to protect his son, and just suffer untill he finds a way to do so next season.

I feel like there was some build up early in the season to set up Dexter needing to turn in DDK in order to preserve Deb's job (since her solve rate is shit without catching DDK), but they haven't really gone anywhere with that recently, so I dunno anymore. They're also just too sloppy with the writing now, I'm totally bugging out over the fact that Dexter didn't at least pull one of these to call in the Ricochet Rabbit:
My prediction. Dexter kills DDK in front of Harrison. And now because he is older he can remember it, thus creating an intense and interesting development between a growing Harrison and his daddy Dexter.
Or, crazy intern man saves Dexter and demands to team up with him or he will turn him in.

This show has taught me one thing, Dexter doesn't need any more killing buddies.
They find the painting and exploded boat and realize Travis is obsessed with Dexter (for some reason). Deb tries to romance Dexter, gets rejected, Dexter finds out his son is kidnapped. Travis (tries to) kills Harrison in front of Dexter, Dexter kills Travis (in public) out of rage. Season ends with a cliffhanger, probably whether Harrison survives or not (he will) or when Dexter finds the hand from the lab intern.

Did we not learn any lessons from season 3 and 5. Teaming up just dosent fit with dexter it always seem akward and forced.
