There has to be something in Harry's code that will allow Dexter to kill her.

Not you though because you have no reason to ever blackmail me."

Holy shit I cannot wait for next week this is going to be the best finale ever!
+ Show Spoiler +It seems like the intern has a theory; that Dexter being a killer (probably The Bay Harbor Butcher), and he is trying to prove it. The homicide game, getting close with the babysitter and the Hand, they are all connected. Deb and Dexter thing is gonna be interesting to see. I am not sure if Dexter can do it, but Deb really seems like she needs this to feel better. However, being closer won't help Dexter's second life. I wonder how it's all going to end, I hope Harrison will be okay.

It is not incest, they are not biologically related.

it's halfcest,, and halfcest is a wonderful thing,,

So here we have a serial killer merrily killing bad guys, and somehow if it's suggested he ends up sleeping with his sister then it gets too much? This is Dexter... not any other normal TV show. I mean sleeping with his sister is like grocery shopping compared to what he normally does at nighttime.
This could be an interesting plotline even if nothing happens, (which in my opinion is most likely given Dexters nature) so I'm looking forward to see what happens. It's also interesting to see how Deb sees Dexter compared to how he really is, and this plotline is showing this well.

Yeah I hate this "OMG incest!!!!" outrage. They are not related by blood. And I think its perfectly normal for Deb to at least think about hooking up with Dexter when he is the most important person in her life etc. Its like, when you have a really good female friend for years, at one point you phantasize about doing her. It is surely more normal than anything else going on in this freak show.

PC nerds ends up saving harrison? How about that one. He is the guy hooking up with the nurse. He has hope to get to know dexter, wants still dexters attention for whatever reason but that would grant him definitly that. Especially if Dexter would be responsible for putting harrison in danger. How about (far fetch) nerd kills DDK, saves harrisson, dexters decides to help him not get caught with this... blah blah blah

You guys are missing the point. I am not creeped out, nor do I really care about the taboo nature this pseudo incest has to do with. I care that it is a completely unnecessary plot point that seems to exist solely in an attempt to be interesting while doing nothing in regards to an overarching storyline. Its the same reason I hated the Batista/LaGuerta shit, its the same reason I hated Intern #1, and its going to be the same reason I hate this.

how can you possible say that it is a completely unnecessary plot point when you dont even know where its going? you might not like it at the moment, but how did you get such foresight powers to deem the plotline unnecessary?
you can speculate and complain all you want, and you have a decent chance that you may be correct, but ultimately you have no idea where the writers are going with this. so stfu, stop acting like you could write a better story, and at least wait till that plotline is over or evolves before saying its completely unnecessary.

Loving this season cant wait for the finale

LOL you, sir, deserve a golden star.
I cant wait for next episode. I still cant believe how good this season has been - especially when compared to the last one.

If you think about it even in the slightest, what interesting thing can evolve from this? Nothing. They enter some weird relationship, or Deb harbors some sexual tension for a season. Her loving him would have no real bearing on her finding out hes a serial killer or not, so I don't consider that an interesting twist on her finding that out. I am not trying to sound all knowing, but if you seriously think about this what interesting thing can arise from it? It just seems like they are going for some petty shock factor.

I think the intern will either recreate the IceTruck Killer's kills and be a bad guy Dexter kills, or be a good guy and kill Travis, saving Dexter's life
|
Just watched the episode. They wouldn't actually kill a kid in a TV show right? I mean...Harrison has to end up fine. I dunno about who won't end up fine but whatever. Also what was with that stuff intern nerd was drawing on the Ice Truck Killer hand?

On one hand, I don't see Harrison dying as he is the easiest way to keep tension going. Also killing the boy would piss people off so much that they stop watching. I know a few people who couldn't go on after Rita died. On the other hand though, they need to do something insanely good this episode, so who knows?
The buildup was good but there are too many pieces to connect to somewhere. Deb&Dexter, the intern, Dex's face on that painting (which will prolly connect to him preventing wormwood so becoming the intended victim on lake of fire, so no big deal i guess), foreshadowing about Harrison's safety.. It'll be hard, I hope they don't mess this up.

Debs character is attracted to men with "darkness" in them. Everyone is dying to see the moment she finds out about Dexter. The whole thing with her being into him, is the irony that she thinks hes the only man that is "good" that has ever been super important in her life, not realizing, he has this crazy secret life, and is actually much like the men she has been attracted to. So yes, it is directly related to the plotline. Its another teaser, another way to head down the road to finding out about Dexters "personal time".

Harrison wont die, maybe Batistas sister will and her boyfriend/intern goes nuts over it to provide the cliffhanger for the next season. I dunno...
I feel like this season is particulary weak compared to the previous. Everythings so predictable, the new Miami Metro guys dont have much personality and are merely bystanders for now. Which sucks, because I like it when things get alot more complicated than they are right now in the series. Anyone else feels like the directing and screenplay overall is weaker ? I used to love Dexter but this season Im a bit disappointed :/
