Being able to form any object, shape, etc, all while being able to absorb people without killing them, is downright OP. Goku and Vegeta setting up people for Buu to absorb would be a 100% checkmate situation with no visible counter. Or at least not based on who we have seen so far. From what we've seen, all of universe 11 could be pretty easily absorbed into Buu except Jiren. Setting up Toppo and the rest of his squad would be simple for Goku, Vegeta and Gohan. Once Toppo and his friends are absorbed, taking out Jiren would be a joke for Buu. It would be a cycle that continued to snowball and it would kill the tournament. All they would have to do is have Buu slowly eject fighters once everyone was absorbed, then smash them out of the ring. And if they focused on exclusively ringing out Buu, he could just turn into a form (could likely even return to his gas form if needed) where he isn't efficient to kill. And with the saiyans protecting Buu until he absorbs a critical mass of fighters, it is GG. There's no situation where saiyans + Buu lose the tournament. | ||

EDIT: Thinking about it, maybe Kale goes on a Broly like rampage after being forced to transform and ends up killing most of U6? That would drop them out of the tournament. There's also the furry universe that might not be able to gather enough. Will all the universes even enter? If not, what will happen then? | ||

The limitation that we've seen is that he can't absorb people wildly stronger than him. Vegito was able to blow him up from the inside by forming a barrier and just generally being insanely OP. But so long as Goku/Vegeta etc work their way up and perhaps even knock opponents out prior, it would be a sure win. Remember those furries? They would be easy to farm for some initial Buu power boost. If they were smart about not going overboard too quickly, Buu would be unstoppable. Edit: I think this is also why they chose not to use Cell. Characters with the ability to absorb others are insanely OP in a team setting. | ||

Universe 4 is a pair of 9 which is weak, but I don't think U4 is weak - yet they're scared enough of U7. I think U7 is going to be at least one of the better ones here. | ||

Kinda interesting that Caulifa appeared to have went SSJ2 when she deflected that blast from Kale lol. I wonder if U4 is going to prevent Frieza from entering somehow? | ||
