I think there's going to be a certain amount of messiness and awkwardness no matter what you do, so long as you are trying to make actual changes to the show. Universe 7's participants require some massaging into being somewhat appropriate. We're seeing the negative sides to that right now. Its really messy. But I am hopeful this universe tournament will serve as a great springboard in the same way the Frieza saga set up DBZ for the remainder of the series. I think we could see some really cool stuff going forward once we acclimate to the new show. Well, more directly, once the writers acclimate and have some sort of continuity. | ||

So far Super didn't create anything interesting imo, there is no adventure, there is no tension, there are simply a few fights here and there, lots of stupid filler and incoherent storytelling. I really hope it will take a turn in/after the tournament arc, but i don't see how you fix the problems Super has at this point. How do we create an interesting villain who would be a match for goku without making him important enough for beerus to interfere? How do we set up our characters so people in the audience have a feeling of power/strength without feeling cheated? What do we do with zeno who is implied to be omnipotent (always bad to create characters like that, even more so when the characterization is that of a little child => no depth) This next arc is really important, i hope it's good... | ||

And then you have zeno, an even more powerful being, basically omnipotent. Goku is also basically his friend. I just don't see that there can be plot which is interesting at this point, all we ever get are lazy tournament arcs with characters of other universes who apparently are on a similar lvl while looking ridiculous most of the time, with no background story, no development. I mean there is no impact whatsoever. | ||

Gogeta was a disappointment but DBS managed to top it with Vegito failing in the same way (fusion running out before victory for no good reason). You did forget one thing from that arc that was badass though: dragon fist. Using that attack more often was awesome. | ||

Every tv show thread I go in that you pop up in, you tend to be complaining how bad it is. Why do you watch it if you don't enjoy it? If I wasn't enjoying Super I would leave it. I personally find Super pretty good, flaws in it, but not this horrible thing you say it is. I definitely prefer it to GT (I like GT, but I disliked how they made Goku a kid and lack of Vegeta!). | ||

With GoT (i guess that's the other show you mean) i actually still enjoy it, i just think it got worse and i mainly talk about that side simply because most people do not talk about it. But yeah i actually do not enjoy dbs atm at all, it's just a sense of wanting to know the ending simply because of all the time i already invested in the franchise. | ||

Damn that Goku thinking he can just bring everything that wants to blow themselves up to King Kai's planet. Also, I thought that if you died again whilst already dead (as mentioned when Kid Buu was about blow up Grand Kai's planet) you would be gone forever. Guess Goku forgot about that. | ||
