NEW MANGA!
Spoilers below for anyone who doesn't wanna get spoiled by manga. New arc started in the manga, but zero broly spoilers.

1. I know people are saying the whole "can't resurrect people people killed by demons" thing is just the same stuff we knew from the Piccolo arc, but I still strongly believe they are basically saying the demon realm have their own versions of kaioshin and gods of destruction
2. Friend of Belmont was probably OP as fuck but I guess we don't know if he was stronger than Jiren. Sounds like probably not.

4. Regarding needing the guy who Buu ate, I think it is very likely all the supreme kais know how to deal with demon realm magic and the general types of fuckery that the demon realm gods can do. But since Shin is a newby idiot, he probably doesn't even know they exist. So eventually Shin will be like "since when are there demon realm gods?? lmao!!" and then the old kaioshin will hit him on the head and tell him he's an idiot or something.
5. Next arc is probably something along the lines of the demon realm rebelling against the non-demon realm? The supreme leader of the galactic patrol got frozen by a demon? And the fat dudes needs to heal him?

Decent ending to the arc, I'm satisfied. I think I liked the ending fight of the anime with Goku and Freeza, but I liked how the manga generally handled stuff a lot more. Felt way, way, way less messy.

Would have liked the manga to have more time for this arc. Feels a bit rushed overall. With a few more chapters other characters could have been flashed out a bit more.
Granted in the anime it was too long.

Yeah, it feels like this ending was a little rushed. Did add a little depth in a couple places in a way I was happy about, though - was a more meaningful take on Jiren’s character at the least.

Hxh fights are like 3 chapters long. This was just too short. I look forward to seeing what toyo does when he isn't needing to play catch up

Saw the Broly movie. Was quite good. Although that's not a particularly high bar, it's one of the very best DBZ movies released to date. Do recommend.
+ Show Spoiler +Biggest complaint is that it did some pointless and/or annoying retcons, both consolidating a lot of manga released after the DBZ times and of course retconning the original Broly movie. Lot of great moments that I'll not mention here, but one that stood out to me in particular: King Vegeta's reason for exiling Broly (he's so powerful that he won't be able to control his power and will be a danger to everyone). Thing is, despite the fact that it was of petty intentions he's clearly right, and it comes back into play far later in the film.

Yeah I thought it was a great film. I do also agree with you on the retconning of stuff. Fight scenes were fantastic though and while it takes a bit to get there I would highly recommend anyone who likes DBZ/DBS to watch it for the fight scenes alone. Loved how fast paced it was in that aspect.

The movie was awesome, love pretty much all of it, but i would have rathered they didnt retcon bardock and literally make goku = superman

I gotta say, the dub version of the Tournament of Power is going fantastic so far. We finally got to my most anticipated scene - Golden Freeza's debut in the ToP - and they did that one marvelously.

In the last scan when Vegeta and goku need to teleport away... vegeta just take by himself Goku's hand... oh God I miss the proud Vegeta of Dragon Ball. Now he just fucking take Goku's hand

Just watched the movie. It's awesome. Liked it a lot. Decent back story and amazing fighting scenes. Fighting doesn't really stop until the end of the movie.

Do you mean the constant RATATATATATATATATATATATA where arms look like lines? Because that's all DBS fight scenes are anymore.

Uh considering I was talking about the movie, that's not what the fight scenes look like. Also not all DBS fight scenes are like that either, there are some really good fights in the anime (unfortunately not that many, but there still are).

His magic is all that allowed Moro to fight evenly with the Saiyans. In particular the energy drain over time made it so their SSB wasn't full power. But Buu is immune to the magic. His power doesn't get drained. Moro is more powerful and Buu doesn't really do much damage to him, but in turn Moro hasn't been able to do any damage to Buu. The magic does nothing and Buu regenerates from physical blows.
Also I like to imagine Buu is fighting with absolutely everything because against Moro the Grand Supreme Kai he absorbed isn't holding him back.
