Yeah, I truly do think the pairing thing is gone. I think they are going to eventually give us another reason Beerus and Champa are brothers.
I really, really liked RuiBarbO's theory posted earlier that Beerus and Champa are from the erased universes. Ideally, this would be an indication that the erased universes were some kinda Frankenstein scenario where 13-18 were "more designed" than the other 12. A much more hands on approach than what we see with all the other universes. But in the end, the angels realized that "playing god" so to speak has bad results. And that's a reason the angels take such a neutral, rarely interfering stance on universe development.

I thought there was some part where they implied that people could become Gods of Destruction for other universes? Likely, Beerus/Champ were born together in any of the other universes, became GOD candidates, then were promoted when U6/7's retired (or their Kais were killed).

Yeah, but if they were born as brothers, presumably they're both from the same universe. And then at least one of them became a GoD for a different universe than their own, which is where the question rises.

I doubt there are many candidates for GoD so if there's none available in a given universe they'll probably just take one from another universe.

It does fix quite a few issues with Hit vs Jiren, shows a new tech for Hit, foreshadows Goku powering up further, and displays just how ahead Jiren is. Pretty freaking good.

Well I guess I still have the manga and English dubs to tide me over for a bit. I spend entirely too much time on here reading posts and other related stuff for someone who doesn't like reading enough that reading the manga for a story I really enjoy sounds almost like a chore to me.
Not sure how I feel about some of the animation I saw in the preview but I do like the scenery it looks to be placed in even if it seems a little bland.

Rumors abound. The only credible statement I found was that the movie is a past/present chronology that is a Saiyan story.

feel so empty without new eps of super to look forward to every saturday
great series
lots of weaknesses such as krillin fighting goku blue, roshi fighting goku blue etc... but i was entertained
the filler was the best part for me. yamcha baseball ep and ariale (sp?) were LIT
